Who owned which decades?

80‘s: Louisville

Louisville:
Titles: 1980 and 1986 (miss me with any 1980 Champs were “technically“ in the 70’s stuff. MSU won in 1979).
Final Fours: 1980, 1982, 1983 & 1986.

Indiana:
Titles: 1981, 1987
Final Four: 1981, 1987
Elite Eight: 1984
1980's was special , man. Some really good fukin teams.. Especially 83-85..

1982 Georgetown----Man, worst, most famous pass in CBB history. Uggggh.

1983 Louisville----Such an overlooked team. When we talk of "best teams not to win a title"---Man this gtoup deserves some love. IMO there is no NC State if UL beats Houston. Crum 10x's the coach of Guy. He just happened to have Hakeem and Clyde.

83 and 84 Houston----My goodnes Guy Lewis.

85 Georgetown---I mean, what do you do when the other team shoots 78%---FOR THE GAME. I mean are you fukin kidding me? I mean Gtown shot 56%....75% from the line...Forced 17 tunrovers---AND LOST.

84 UNC----Sheesh, Dean----really? Jordan, Perkins, Kenny Smith, Doherty, Daugherty...ANd you lose to Indiana led by.....Steve Alford, Uwe Blab and Marty Simmons....REALLY?

84 Kentucky---Wow. 3-33? Yikes. Most forget, but UK was dominant vs Gtown in the 1st half. Then---CLANK, CLANK, CLANK...Never seenanything like it.

Some crazy good teams....

And none won the title.
Wow.

UK was 2.7 seconds away from reducing each those accolades by 1.

May have been a postseason ban away from adding a FF...Ricks 1991 UK team was pretty damn good. 22-6, won the SEC. Ranked 9th. Really good team.
