I was wondering this, too. I thought that stopped at like 8 years old. And why is a 6'10" 12 year old playing against other 12 year olds? Mom and dad, it might be time to move junior up a level or two.

btw, unrelated to this kid but related to the idea of early offers, former Cuse player Rakeem Christmas just got engaged to Michael Jordan's daughter. If they announce a pregnancy in the near future and it's a boy, he might be the first to get a scholarship offer in utero.

That was my first thought.......Have been coaching my kid since 3rd grade (just rec, not travel), and they played on regulation hoops. This must be 6th and 7th grade, right?
