Vick...everyone knows he can run, but he was a great passer too. I was at the championship game they lost to FSU - got to see it in person

I’ll take Vince Young but only if it’s college football.
I’ll take Mike Vick but only if we’re playing Madden.
I’ll take Charlie Ward but only if we’re playing basketball.
I’ll take Tommie Frazier but only if it’s 1884 and nobody is throwing the ball.
I’ll take Kellen Moore if we’re playing a schedule full of high school teams.

I think I need more information.

You forgot about Chris Weinke. Truly the most successful QB in college football history. 32-3. Heisman winner. Took the Noles to 3 straight Title games. Would have beaten Tennessee for the Title in '98 if not injured. Would have beaten OU in 2000 if Mark Richt hadn't lost control. And of course is the only QB to lead a team wire to wire #1 as National Champions. Also MLB pitcher before coming to FSU.

Charlie Ward is an excellent option too. Only two losses to the #2 teams on the road. Heisman. National Champion. Electric. The original Mike Vick. And will break your ankle on the basketball court.

But alas, I'll go with Famous Jameis. Only one loss in the first ever Playoff game. But Winston and the 2013 Noles... GOAT. Most points scored in a season. At the time the youngest Heisman winner ever. And in epic fashion on his birthday dethroned the SEC in the Rose Bowl to secure the last Crystal Ball that will reside in Tallahassee forever. Youngest #1 NFL Draft Pick ever.

FSU probably has the three greatest QBs in college football history.

    Go Noles!

Not a single QB on that list or in CFB history can match what all 3 of those accomplished.

I'll acknowledge what Tommie Frazier did... But we all know Charlie beat him head to head for a Title.

I'll acknowledge sCam's season as well... But not as good as Jameis plus Dyer was down, Oregon beat Auburn.

But tell me why I'm wrong based on success, awards and Titles. Go on, I'll wait...

There are tons of better QBs in college football history that weren’t on teams that allowed them to win. Drew Brees was a better college QB than any person on this list but his team held him back. Peyton Manning was a better college QB than any person on this list but his team held him back.

But that’s not the point of my post. Are you denying that you’re a ridiculous homer?

I’m a Notre Dame fan. I’m not talking about Joe Montana on this list.

My argument is based on success and accomplishment.

Homer bias says yeah, Jameis was the best college QB by skill too.

And yeah I rep my team better than you... Step your sh*t up. Even a Knight just brought up Joe Montana... Or maybe he said Joe Mantegna...

Go watch traffic lights or something. This is Rivals. Noles are here to run this sh*t. SmokinSmile

Bruce. Arians. Bucs coming for the Super Bowl soon enough.

Yeah, but that was wack AF...

    And proof Auburn Cheats.

But their pockets ran dry when it came time to face the Lord's favorite team. FSU. SmokinSmile

From this list, I'm going Jameis because they absolutely destroyed teams in 2013. Say what you want about him off the field, but he commanded a presence one the field and in the locker room that is unmatched by any freshmen. Close second is Vick, because he was absolute magic with the ball.

They also all won Titles. And Heismans. Before the Gators. And after the Gators. And you don't have to get over it. Let it sink in. We got three QBs better than any single one tratorious turds or anyone else ever had. SmokinSmile

Ehhh you can't really make that kind of conclusion so clearly. I really DO believe Vick was a better college QB than Manning. Vicks legs made him dominant in college. Sure it didn't translate as well to the NFL, but against college competition I'd take him over Brees and Manning. If the argument is then "Their teams weren't as good" well yeah...but it's college. That's part of the argument. It's not like Manning had an awful team. They were in the title hunt at seasons end even if they were raped by Nebraska.

Vick was a great one. Fun to watch. But he got outplayed by Weinke head to head.

But for maybe a year or two there I thought he was the best in the NFL... Shame about them dogs.

But what Vick did in the NFL always leaves me wondering what would Charlie Ward have done in the NFL?

This man is a genius. A freakin' Tiger of all people.

Maybe cause you can still hear da noise Jameis brought to Death Valley. :p

If I run a pro ... I'm probably picking Leinart.
    Spread ... probably Young.

That's (obviously) a pretty strong list though ...

We'll see... He won the more important Title at 20.

He just tries to force things too much in the NFL... But when he plays smart, he is as good as anyone.

And now with Arians and Bowles it's a new team... Just give us a defense and the Bucs are legit.

And in his personal life he says he's quit drinking, got married and is now a father. If he matures and works to become a Champion again, he will. And this is the year to get paid or get traded. I'm optimistic.

Only we could beat us... Really we couldn't stop you guys. Our D was rubbish... Jameis put up good numbers but when he threw that ball backwards... Well... Damn... Seemed like an Audition for the Las Vegas NFL. :(

That Hokie D might have been as good as ours...

But damn... Mike Vick and Peter Warrick on the same field? Holy shitake. I wanna make some popcorn just imagining that. ;)

Vick would probably have similar numbers... But Weinke wouldn't have Warrick... So the Noles would still win.

Even though I don't like him, I'd pick Newton. Dude is a linebacker playing qb. Next pick would likely be Ward.

Vick and Warrrick w that OL would have been as unstoppable an O as I can think of ... the RPO game w forget the burner FSU had at the time stretching field, sheesh. Remember Vick could throw it on a rope 50 yards w a mere flick of the wrist.

Deshaun was 32-3 as a starter (one loss he left the game in the first half with a torn ACL), 2 National Title Appearances, 1 National Title. Any list of winningest college QB’s without him on it is a joke of a list.

Well, he had Laveranues Coles alongside Warrick but he got kicked off the team over the Dillard's incident. So, Ron Dugans got the most passes after Warrick. Those Noles should have been even better with Coles. And we had Anquan Boldin battling for reps with Snoop and Gardner... Yeah, that team was stacked. Mikey would have liked it.

Putting all bias aside, the most dominant QBs I have witnessed are Cam Newton and Michael Vick. I would list Tommy Frazier, but without an overpowering OL, he would not be successful today. So I'd choose either Newton or Vick depending on what type of offense I chose to run.

If you're going by accomplishments, then Frazier, Leinart, and McCarron, all with 2 titles, accomplished more.

If what a QB did to Bama on their way to a Title is the primary criteria...

Trevor, and nobody is within 3 touchdowns.
