On his feet?
USC is the speculation. SInce he needs to be closer to home. Dabo handled it well it seems.
Lewisville head coach Will Mitchell released the following statement which was posted on GamecockCentral.com - “Josh Belk was granted an unconditional release by Clemson. Ongoing health issues in his family have created a need for him to be closer to home to help out. Very classy decision by Coach Swinney and his program. They understand the importance of family and how important it was for Josh to be there for his people. There has been no prior contact with any other programs but I imagine that will change now that Josh has his release.”
Belk was a U.S. Army All-American and a 4-star prospect coming out of Lewisville High School.
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney released the following statement - “Josh is a good young man from a great family,” Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said in a statement. “Sometimes circumstances change, as is the case with Josh. We are disappointed he is leaving, but I enjoyed being around him the past few months. He did everything that was asked of him and had an excellent semester academically. I wish him all the best in the years to come.”
Dabo is a good man.
Can't help but like Dabo for this decision. Many things in life are way more important than football. This is one of them.
If Belk went to Tennessee, he might never be welcome in this state again, but all signs point to SCjr. Tennessee seems like a smokescreen to downplay the theory that the Carolina staff continued to recruit Belk while signed with Clemson.
I'm hearing more and more of that also. There was a thread last week about recruiting past commitment. I guess if that is true WM just took it to another level.
To assume nothing went on after the signing would be naïve but he apparently regretted his initial decision so what does it matter.
It is ironic that this kid has picked two of the biggest armpit cities in these great states as his likely destinations for his "urban" college experience.
Had He stayed at Clemson, he is in the PROs in 3 years. We will see where these other folks get him.
I can't think of 1 kid who left Clemson who ended up better off. Not 1.
I can't wait until we crush USCjrs soul....for the next 3 years.
It is absolutely amazing how much Reverend William C. Swinney has so many folks hoodwinked!!!!
A freakin' lawyer had to get involved in this people. There are all kinds of skeletons being hidden here.
I can say with 100% confidence that at least ten coot fans brought this to the ncaa’s attention.
and I’m sure they’re on it.
4 conference titles, 3 CFPs, 1 National Title and 1 runner up...Reverend Dabo can say and do anything he waits with those results.
Reports are He visiting Knoxville next weekend. Pruitt doing work
I have a very close friend that is a 4-year letterman at Tillman. He played during the West era. He hates everything about Dabo Swinney. Claims he's as fake of a human being that exists on this planet. Won't attend games at Tillman any more.
I say all this just to back up your point. I told him in a conversation recently, "Given the wins that have happened in Swinney's time, he could call a timeout during a sold out game, trot out to mid field with the mammal of his choice, sodomize it, & the crowd would give a rousing ovation while the band struck up tiger rag. Ain't nothing he could do now to turn the Tillmanites against him.
If he ends up at Tenn after Dabo granting him a full release due to his ailing mother, that is going to be pretty wild.
It sounds like Belk and his lawyer were ready to blackmail Dabo if he didn't grant him a full release.
Blackmail?? Dabo dirty ?
One of the articles posted on another thread said Belk and his lawyer were ready to basically publicly shame Dabo if he didn't grant Belk a full release.
I think he did sodomize a mammal last time USC visited....i think it was your coach.
I guess that's fair, considering how Boom has had his way with Kathleen.
Is he the one who started that retail store?
It's good that you recognize him as a religious figure. That way HE can administer last rights as we kill you guys for the next 5 years. I fully expect him to call three timeouts in the last minute of the game at Billy Brice in order to recognize our seniors.
And if anything improper happened with Belk, he won't call off the dogs until we hit a hundred.
Coots and Taters
Speaking of "BOOM"
So he wants to be closer to home because of his sick Mother, yet, he's interested in Tenn.
But this did begin with an Olympians first SCar game,
