So you, me, and Mossy are the NJ folks? Makes sense I suppose. What county you live in?

Hudson. I can reliably get home in an Uber in less than 20 minutes without traffic (so late at night). About 30 minutes door to door using public transportation on average.

Close, Weehawken. I've lived in both Jersey City and Hoboken, though. Hoboken is ridiculously expensive. It's nice, and people are staying with their kids so the schools are improving, but there's so many infrastructure issues there (water main breaks constantly) that I decided to get a big house nearby rather than a 2 bedroom condo for most of a million.

I like your post, and I'm just curious on how did you become a UK fan?

If I wasn't so lazy I'd start a new thread, because I'm sure there's a great story behind everyone's fandom.

Family is from Kentucky (and very conservative), so I grew up playing basketball with cousins, often on a hoop tacked to the side of a barn. So I've been a UK fan since I was 8 years old even though I've never lived in Kentucky.

I'm not from the northeast, but I came to NYC for law school and have been here ever since (legal opportunities here are amazing). Grew up in the Midwest (Chicago suburbs and MN), and spent most of a decade in Las Vegas and a bit of southern California (deserts, unfortunately).
