What is your favorite double digit upset?

Rock Chalk, mother truckers.

guess this one has to be my favorite.
Remember it like it was yesterday since I was at this game in Omaha. Kyle O'Quinn was awesome in this game. I don't remember his stat line since it was 6 years ago, but trust me, he was. Phil Pressey's shot at the end to win it for Missouri was off left in what would have saved Missouri, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Kentucky won the title that year

Even though they were a 9 seed i would say Northern IA. Basically because i just really enjoyed yelling FAAAROOOKHMAANEESSHH! as loud as i could every time he did anything good

I have 2 and they both involve Duke. Losing to Lehigh in 2012 and Mercer in 2014. And what makes the losses bad is that they happened in the state of NC.

If you take out the dislike factor (aka rooting against Blue Bloods) and consider under-dog games that were just enjoyable from a semi-neutral standpoint, I would say:

1. 1996, Princeton over UCLA (defending champs)
2. 2008, Davidson over Georgetown
3. 1995, Old Dominion over Villanova (3 Overtimes)
4. 2015. Georgia State over Baylor
5. 2001, Hampton over Iowa State

You have to add FGCU vs. Georgetown a few years ago. That 2nd half was amazing to watch and Dunk City was born.

It's fun to go back and look at some of these upsets (that we thought at the time), and see that they featured current NBA studs like CJ McCollum, Steph Curry, Gordon Heyward and Kyle O'Quinn.

Kinda makes you look at those results differently now.

Don't forget Patrick O'Bryant for Bradley. He should have to send half his $$$ to Self and KU. The guy became a lottery pick and millionaire due to beating Kansas in the tournament. Ended up starting a total of 3 games in his career and I don't think he scored more than 200 total points.
