When people watch Iowa for the first time they must think the broadcasters are going overboard with the white player euphemisms like "coach's son" when the reality is Iowa's recruiting strategy is to make sure we lock up early commitments from our coaches' actual sons or Hawkeye legacy prospects and then try to attract blue chip talent to round things out and then when all the blue chip talent says no then you have to start looking at your gym rats, or your hustle guys, or your good locker room guys.
