Usually a regional team, this year Beard has put them in the national spotlight. They have 2 very good wins by beating Memphis and NC St soundly. On 1/6 they will be traveling on the road to visit my Vols in food city arena. If they pull the upset on the road it may be time we start talking elite 8 potential with this team.

NC State being called a very good win is pretty comical.

Ole Miss do seem to be a lot better this year and the Memphis win looks like it will hold up.

I guess anything is possible, but I doubt even their biggest fans believe that. They aren’t terrible, but “really good” and “ACC contender” is really overselling them. I think they could end up being a tournament team, but I wouldn’t bank on much else.
