Would be a lot cooler if he went by Barack instead of Barry.

    It never existed.....
    Only stayed a Tropical Storm.

Going to flood some areas tonight. Only moving a few hundred miles in 24 hours.

1/2 inch up to 2 inches a hour could leave some parishes in South Louisiana with 20-25 inches of rain.

Sounds about right as hurricane Barry (Barrack) never lived up to the hype.

Hurricane Barry White should have won a grammy. It at least make someone blush. Can't get enough of your love, baby!

You need to bone up on your history. There's a lot to be cleaned from it. This
To each his own . To coin a phrase. Woody always delivers in his promises to keep chucking along. That's why I live Woody Woodpecker. He lays it all out there. Hard.

The heavy rainbands are getting close to shore.
Some of the oil rigs in the Gulf have taken close to 20 inches of rain but the winds have only been 35-60 mph.

It was Barry Odom. He's wreaking havoc in Missouri as we speak.

    Matters where you are.
Some of the Parishes in Acadiana were hit hard.
Vermillion River was supposedly flowing backwards.

Lafayette, New Iberia and Opelousas took the brunt of the storm

If it did it fell apart to re energize and people are lucky it hit while it did.
Most Tropical systems go through the process. They will collapse to gain strength.

It was really only half a storm. As much rain as some places got they were spared just as much. That dry patch coming from the north eliminated days of rain.

I’m sure you saw it but I thought it was really interesting the way the north half of Barry never really materialized. Pretty cool stuff.

It is still offshore somewhat and the center is up by Texarkana.

Supposedly the storms weakened once it hit the shore.
I think the system was going thru its strengthening process.
Reaches hurricane status and falls a part but comes back as a tighter storm.

All the deep convection is still off shore
Looks like it is cut off from the Low.

It is losing strength. It was pretty much all deep convection last night.
