Took the kids thru BK yesterday and both cars ahead of me had a single person in the car and both I assume had a non working window as they had to open the door and reach above or back to pay and get order. Are there that many cars in America with non working windows?

Time to upgrade to XP. Apparently they were using Windows 98.

not a cheap fix if you are lower income. many cars today don't have that allen wrench hole either.

Maybe we should go back to crank windows or have a way to bypass the electronic motor

I had that problem recently. The window got misaligned and wouldn't work. Had to look white trash for a week before the mechanic could fix it.

About 5 years ago I was laid off with half my department after 17 years. I had a Mercedes ML class and that damn thing was ungodly expensive to fix anything. Hell an oil change was over $100 bucks. Of course during the period that I was unemployed the window activator breaks in the down position. Taped a sheet of plastic for a window for a spell until I could afford to fix it. Never again will I own such an expensive to maintain car.

Plus a window that has the risk of falling out of place in Oregon....soaking wet drivers seat. Yay!

I think I would walk into the BK rather then do the open door trick, it just screams best car in the trailer park.

I've heard of $500 oil change with some Mercedes.

Yeah you shouldn't own one if you can't afford maintenance.

Am I missihg something. ? If it's a broken window what's the need to open the door? I think this is a truck question. Sort if like if a tree falls in the forest and if there is nobody there to hear it does it still make a sound?

OP, 75% of your threads lately are you being in a fast food restaurant? Few questions....

    - Why are you eating fast food 5x a week at your age?
    - Why do you take your kids there to eat?
    - Do you know the damage fast food causes as far as health issues go?
    - There is an obesity epidemic in this country and fast food/soda is a major reason for it.

Gotta be smarter bro, most say "I only eat fast food once in awhile" but that basically means 5x a week.

    Be smart and be healthy.

It's cool, he gets it to go and then puts the bag in the air fryer when he gets home.

Last night we could filets on the grill and used the air fryer for patatoes. It was excellent.

Hey now, don't put an air fryer in the same sentence with that garbage ass fattening food, it's disrespectful.

Btw, I had bourbon marinated salmon yesterday in my air fryer.....my God that was delicious, only 300 calories of lean protein prepared HEALTHY.

5 best things God created in order.....

    Nike Air Max sneakers
    Free weights
Whey protein with all 9 essential amino acids in it
    The city of Cleveland
    Air Fryers

Actually no, but I did military pressed 145 four times this morning.

Prolly thinking wtf does that have to do with anything? It has nothing to do with anything just wanted to brag a bit.

Afterward it felt like my shoulders had gonorheaa because they were BURNING!!!!! That's a record for me but damn I'm paying for it now.

I want to be able to buy a car with manual everything and no computer screen. Basically a 1990's Geo Metro. Cars are so freaking heavy these days thus requiring lots of horsepower with no real gains in fuel economy. My minivan has 10 more HP than a late 90's Camaro...

The best car I ever owned was a 1999 Chevy Cavalier. No nonsense 5-speed that still looked brand new when I sold it...It is still on the road.
