UCF loses to lower tier SEC team

UCF has a lot going for it, great location, draw of good recruits, but wow do their fans jump the gun in thinking they're one of the big boys.

JC you are one of my favored posters; however, your statement "great location" has me wondering if your IQ is over 15.

Have you ever spent a year in central Florida? It sucks.

You sweat taking the garbage out at 5 am.
Often it is 80 degrees at sun rise.
There is not one hill that is over 50 ft. high. Do you like flat?
Golf courses are FLat.
Bugs eat at you year round.
Your house mildews.
Every thing becomes stinky because the humidity stays near 80% year round.
Termites eat your house and you have to pay Orkin thousands a year just to keep a roof over your head.

Why is that a "great location"?

...I guess I'll have to re-think that...I was pretty much talking about Florida, in general. I've been to Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, all pretty nice places. Guess I missed the area you've described.

I lived in Florida for 15 years. I had my house drilled for termites 8 times. I paid to have the mold removed from it 15 times. I had to mow my yard, trim the shrubs (with bugs biting the shit out of me all the time) and clean the pool. Big difference from a vacation.

My question was did you ever live there? SmokinSmile

You totally missed my damned point! Eyeroll

I'm pretty sure this has been solidified. No need to wonder. SmokinSmile

....and your mode of transportation is a short bus to and from the coffee shop. We established that, little fella. Don’t interrupt, let the adults talk.

Clearly you must be thinking of Gainesville when you’re talking about Central Florida in a negative way.

Orlando is purely Magical.

UCF has to win those games if they’re going to rise to prominence

You’re right about this one my UCFriend.

We dominated most of the game. To not close this one out was painful. Mizzou threw up a Hail Mary that went in to send the game to OT. Reminded me of the Michigan lucky shot to get over Houston in the Tourney last year. Very painful.

This team is still the real deal in terms of talent and coaching. Got to develop that killer instinct like how I play competitive softball.

Went to Florida in July a couple years ago on vacation because that is when my father-in-law HAD to go. Straight up miserable. Woke up at 6 am the first day, went outside and my eyes fogged up. Had to bring a couple changes of clothes when we played golf because you would sweat through them. Sitting outside at midnight drinking beer, still sweating my ass off... Then I passed out on the balcony and my body created a cure for the zika virus through 5,000 mosquito bites.

Hard ****ing pass on Florida in the summer.

I went during the winter of 2001, and it sucked as well. But, it could have just been Tampa.

Just how fat are you?

Do you not understand Orlando has tropical weather? Most people - the non- fat type call tropical weather paradise. It’s like 72 out right now in December. Gorgeous

An honest appraisal. UNCHonors is trying to sell a bill of goods based on a lie. The population of Florida was very, very low until the advent of air conditioning. It was not a healthy place to live.

I belonged to Hidden Hills Country Club for years. My wife and I had a standing agreement to get the first t-time on Saturday. You would still be soaked by the turn.

I had a screened-in pool. Without the screened in part you could not swim at night because of the mosquito's. The screen was ordered the day after trying to swim at night and it cost a fortune to screen in a large pool.

Another fun thing to do is drive a stick in the ground. Come back a month later and it will be totally eaten by termites. Termites loved my house, it had to be the best tasting wood in Florida.
