Should include the teams record and what level of comp everyone has faced this season. Ive watched Howard and he is a beast.

What do you guys think about the west coasters? Gonna expose myself (not literally) I have not seen SDSU all year, what's their guy bring to the table?

Pretty good crop to choose from. I don't think I'd be to rustled if Dotson doesn't get it...plenty of reasonable choices.

Hey, my guy Cole would lead that list in RPG at least. Actually, his stats aren't far off from those guys except for 3pt%. (19.7/3.9/5.9/34.4) He doesn't deserve to be on the list but he has been better than some of these UNC fans give him credit for considering the team he is surrounded by.

Wasn't going to spend time on this thread but it's a bit triggering that Malachi Flynn is on this over Winston and Simpson.

Howard is unreal. 41% from three on 10 attempts a game. Why did the twins leave Marquette again? They might actually be dangerous if they stayed.

Probably because Marquette's guards jack up 65% of the FGA per game. The "big" with the most FGA per game is Brendan Bailey at 6.6 shots per game.

71 posts in 19 years and you use one to try and pretend that SDSU plays a harder schedule than Michigan. That's rich.
I didnt say anything about sdsu schedule. msu has a tough schedule, but 9 losses is a frickin joke. so much for putting the team on his back.
preseason #1, 9 losses. gtfo for any post season awards

Just because someone wasn’t as good as expected doesn’t mean they weren’t good. Cassius hasn’t a been the NPOY but statistically he deserves it over a 17/5/4 guy on SDSU.

MSU is a top 15 too. Not dogshit IMO.

Pritchard. Every year he has to break in a new group of team mates and could shoot twice as much as does, but he wants the team to go as far as they can when it counts?
Lost count on how many games he's taken over. when it matters, in the closing minutes. Kid played a key starting role as a FR to barely lose to UNC in the FF.
IS he the best NBA prospect? Probably not, but this is college and I'd love to see his win it. Gotten better each year. But for a few injuries UO probably would have stayed in the top 10 all season, but their bigs are Fr, injured and just not learning fast enough.
I dont watch enough other teams to know, but Pritchard is a hell of a college PG.

I watch a lot of games with a lot of teams and Pritchard definitely isn't a bad choice. Dude is really good.

I do watch a ton of CBB and have seen all these PG's play plenty of time and you sir are absolutely correct about Pritchard. IMO, he's been the best PG I've seen all year. Definitely the one who has taken over and won more games than any other PG nationwide.

If any of the finalists could be replaced, I'd say it would be Tre Jones. Not Malachi Flynn. In a worst case scenario, I think Flynn is 2nd Team All-American.

In that scenario do you allow for more than 1 PG on each AA team? I've got Pritchard and Dotson clear cut top two at the position.

Yes, absolutely. We see it almost every year now. Here are the point guards that made 1st Team AA in just the past 3 years:

2019- Ja Morant and Cassius Winston
2018- Jalen Brunson, Devonte' Graham, Trae Young
2017- Lonzo Ball, Frank Mason

Between Pritchard, Howard, Doston, and Flynn, I think we can expect 2-3 1st Team All-Americans. I think all 4 should either be 1st or 2nd Team. Right now, here's how my All-American teams might look:

1st Team
Payton Pritchard, Oregon
Markus Howard, Marquette
Devon Dotson, Kansas
Obi Toppin, Dayton
Luka Garza, Iowa

2nd Team
Malachi Flynn, San Diego State
Myles Powell, Seton Hall
Jordan Nwora, Louisville
Filip Petrusev, Gonzaga
Udoka Azbuike, Kansas

3rd Team
Tre Jones, Duke
Cassius Winston, Michigan State
Jared Butler, Baylor
Jalen Smith, Maryland
Vernon Carey, Duke
