Would Gopher fans consider Tim Miles to be an upgrade over Patino?

Minnesota Basketball needs a recruiter more than anything.

A lot of talent up there. Even to the east in Wisconsin.
But not many of them end up at Minnesota.

So IMO they need someone who can recruit. Bring the players into the program.

Take it from a Nebraska fan, no. They should go after Craig Smith who is from Minnesota, knows the area and is currently doing a great job at Utah State.

Craig Smith was an assistant under Tim Miles at Nebraska when we made the tournament last in 2014. After he left to become the Head Coach at South Dakota (where he won) Miles tenure at Nebraska went into the crapper.

I really like Miles for games, super likable. With that said, I think Nebby made a mistake firing him. Time will tell, I guess.
