I was told something else was also bad for your eyes....
In football, my dad was a pretty good coach. He won a lot. He also coached me. The advice that sticks out is “God dammit straighten you’re ****ing stance.”
Always look someone in the eye and grip tight when shaking hands and introduce yourself.
“Bill Curry is too ****ing conservative” was one of my first memories at a UK football game.
If no rooting interest in a sports game, always root for the underdog.

Life’s a joke. You live you die and you waste the best years of your life working so hopefully you can afford to live in a nursing home if you live long enough.
Both of my parents spent their final days in nursing homes. I ain’t going out like that.
I was taught, that if someone is holding a gun in their hand, not to try to assault that person.
