We have a lunatic running this country already lol
At least we upgraded to Trump from the prior person running the country for eight years.
That last turd made it OK to kill cops, burn city blocks, let men use women's bathrooms, and said Trevon Martin could have been his son.
As you said, we did upgrade. But hey, orange man says mean things.... Lol
If it was, it worked
Thats our fault........
It worked, therefore it 100% confirms that it was a PR stunt because the alternative would be acknowledging that Colin Kaepernick has a better read on the country than a bunch of backwards, conservative men and boys on a sports message board.
If it were a PR stunt, Kapernick is a bigger ass than first thought of. But let'me guess, Dat--If it were a PR stunt, Kap had no idea----------Right?
Shame he couldn't read NFL defense's as good as he can the country---He might still have a job if he could...
A few of those were outside of the criteria I was seeking, but no matter. I agree with the general sentiment that we always like to see ourselves in a positive light. Not sure if you said that, or it was something that I skimmed in one of your links. Anytime you talk with an athlete past or present, they'll tell you all the good stories - how they bested others and were essentially unstoppable. I suppose we all have an distorted sense of reality.
I'm not one to say that conservative or liberal ideals will lead to a greater level of happiness. In Europe or South America, it might be very, very different. I can't compare the United States to other countries, except for Brazil, which I lived in for a year. Brazilians, in my opinion, have a fairly high level of happiness compared to their income levels. I was living in the northeast part of the country, which is very, very poor. Probably less than 10% of the adults I knew owned automobiles...I just think the culture we live in is very toxic, very cynical, and liberals seem to overemphasize everything that is wrong with our country (and didn't that one link suggest that liberals were more emotionally unstable?). Certainly Republicans engage in combative dialogue too, I just don't think it's an overwhelming amount... even on the first page when I search "Democrats are happier than Republicans", quite a few of the hits were, in fact, studies that suggested Republicans were happier.
At any rate, we can all be happy if we choose to be. So I'll guess I'll try that.
Trump isn't an upgrade from anyone...
Be careful, you don't want offend them. Only they can decide when to play the victim card.
It's okay when Obama was involved because he's black, there is no bs narrative to push there.
Except the BC narrative that time never passes and things never change.
He does have a way of firing up the very vocal left to keep his name in at least a few headlines. He def has a read on those that love to cry wolf——the good news is, both sides of the media love to engage with people like this.
Kaepernick has done well for himself without having to really do anything. He's not the biggest idiot here, his followers and supporters take that title. He's raised money and donated money which is awesome because we all know that things are fixed by throwing money at them. But what has he actually done to help unite people to create real change? Nothing. He just pops up from time to time, stirs some shit up and sits back and collects his endorsement money.
Isolating the right people can be a pretty crucial prereq to uniting the rest. In fact, it's usually the only thing that works to bring the former around eventually, because they resist every beneficial change for others until there's a direct, negative impact on them.
Okay. So who has he united to create change?
Well, there's Jeff and Karen and Susan and Pete L. and Pete S. and Lil' Davey and Deliah and Colin and Jantelle and Nelson and Ryan-with-the-lazy-eye and...
Thank you for playing. You have a strange list of social heroes btw.
You'll play someday, but not until you see negative consequences in refusing to do so. That's the only way most conservatives ever embrace positive social change for others, ironically.
Things just aren't nearly as bad as you SJWs want them to be. Why worry so much about changing some people who have no effect on your way of life? That's why Kaepernick hasn't united a damn soul. He is barking at non issues in today's society.
What positive social change has CK really made....he got them racist assed American flag sneakers pulled?
You'd have to listen to determine that, regardless.
2 problems with that question, but neither of which you're in a position to understand and I'm not in a mood to waste my time.
I think the term ‘manufactured’ comes to a lot of people minds when thinking about kaeps actions and words.
FIFY, including underlining the reason you won't get much more from me now.
It’s strange how you can’t see that most (by a landslide) of the population doesn’t feel like CK does. I’m one of them.
I'm still laughing at this. It just keeps on giving. One of the funniest responses I've seen in a long time. Made my morning.
I can see that we are as close to equal ground as we have ever been in this country. There is still work to be done, but it is still not even close to as bad as you SJWs want it to be. Why do you want things to be so bad?
What effects do a small number of people who have no voice in this country have on your life or anyone else's aside from feelings? How is anyone's life altered by anyone else's opinion without them choosing to be affected? Ignorance is better off ignored, especially in today's society. But you guys choose to answer ignorance with more ignorance.
You are right. Don't know why I don't just ignore you. Seems I would be better off taking my own advice.
Colin kaepernick = the eyeroll heard round the world.
Your issue is-----You only WANT to see the negative. You totally ignore anything positive. Also, you cannot accept that sometimes, the people you think are right---are wrong, i.e. Kapernick.
You have bad tunnel vision, Dat. People like that cannot fix anything. You cannot do so, b/c you only see one side, and refuse to be open minded. People like you slow the progress.
He would ask which one jim crow was in the angry birds movies.
