What's your guys opinion on something?

I saw something happen today, (what doesn't matter), but I let it unfold and I might have been able to alter it.

I got to thinking and here's my question. Why do ppl not interfere with stuff?

Fear of being involved or just danger
    Not their business
    Just don't care
    Use sick shit as entertainment

I was just tired. I have zero energy right now.

*Someone could be about to jump off the Peabody and I'm not sure I could muster the energy to even try and talk them out of it. That's what I like about chatting here.It requires no thought and very little physical movement of fingers.

Do you think he is better as a coach or better as a player? He was average to below average as a Big Ten player. How about as a coach?

Yea common sense would tell you that a player who didn't make it into the NFL and started coaching in his early twenties because he wanted to stay involved in football would be a better coach than a guy who just started coaching after retiring from the NFL. One has very little experience as an actual coach and one has been moving up the ranks within the coaching tree.

Nah it was worse than that. A crime wouldn't bother me. Anyway, I was just curious for opinions.

A little back ground would help. I mean it depends on what you witnessed. I've watched people have heart attacks when I worked in the food service industry in my younger days. Never even crossed my mind to step in and help mostly because I wouldn't have a clue what to do. I've stopped for accidents. One was coming home from the bar a couple months ago, called 911 and helped the guy who got ejected from his car with his leg was all ****ed up before the ambulance arrived.

You could tell me how they did it and Id still not understand. Ive always been one to jump in situations....the only thing I've found detrimental is jumping into something where I didn't understand what was going on....and then it can backfire on you a bit.

Holy shit it's cold. IIRC 24 is the coldest it's got here all winter. . I woke myself up telling my wife to put some wood in the stove. I've not lived with a wood stove since I was 12. We had coal after that. The coal chute was fun, it went down to a coal room. It wasn't fun shoving that shit. Give me splitting wood anyday.

It's definitely time to fire up the natural gas.

You bet---saw him live last year and it was awesome. We have an completely renovated old school fox theatre here and Im going to him tonight. Pretty pumped. He played all his staind hits last time---keeping my fingers crossed he does it again.

You should give his new one lost and lonely a spin. its awesome.

I’m thinking about making the drive out to El Paso (4 hours) to go see Rage Against the Machine in their first show in like 10 years. It happens later this month. The crowd is going to be about 75% white dudes ages 35-50 who are there to get hammered and act like it’s 1999. That’s just my kind of crowd.

    Should I do it?

I would go in a heartbeat---the only problem with Rage is the weirdos you will sit by at the concert.

Again, love the crowd, music is awesome too.

System of a Down crowd is my all time favorite crowd. STP second. Willie Nelson 3rd.

Never been to a RAGE concert....that I can recall. I've been to a lot, blackout drunk at most of them. I'm older now and let the kids do their thing. I sit in the cheap seats and just watch/listen.

I hope I’m not one of those weirdos.

I don’t think I would have to worry about anybody like that. At this point I would imagine the people there are just happy to see Rage again. If anybody is actually making the show about revolution and anger then that’s on them. I would anticipate it to just be dudes getting hammered and rowdy. That sounds like a fantastic time.

It’s four hours away and I’m having trouble finding anybody to come. Trying to get my best man to fly down from Denver but he’s a business owner and workaholic. I think I could get him to come down if I tried hard enough. We’ll see. It’s looking like my decision probably wouldn’t be made until that week of the show.
