I wish you guys knew my buddy so you could see where I developed that shit from. He saves screenshots about everyyyything and his ability to find things we talked about three years ago is unprecedented.

And he exaggerates my takes. I’ll say something like

“it sucks Beilein is gone but I’m excited about Howard”.

He will save that. When Michigan loses he’d send me the screenshot saying “remember when you said you’d rather have Howard than Beilein”. Then if Michigan wins down the road he’d use the same screenshot and say “remember when you thought it sucked we had to settle for Howard?”

Love the kid but damn does he hold on to stuff. You’d consider me forgetful compared to him.

I could not imagine sitting down to watch a debate. I assume they’re all shit shows. Even good ones would not be worth it.

No kidding? I have gravitated toward watching them bc it open your eyes to actual politics. Never answer any question straight forward. Always circle back to one or two central points. U can learn a lot about people u think u support by watching

Bloomberg actually came out of it the most sane. Both he and buttplug understand that the progressive movement does not serve America as a whole. Bloomberg got way more applause than I thought possible and Bernie actually got boo’d quite a bit. He even asked the crowd rhetorically...really?

I watched a bit of it. Seemed like Bloomberg had people planted in the crowd. That or his whole team of supporters got in and nobody else’s did.

    Starting chain of events.

Neighbors including my own, have cars dead with engine problems, tires flat, batteries dead.., got a battery pack with a air compressor.

I bought one before but it sucked ass. Seriously the worst.

I have 4 cars outside my place. 2004 volvo that runs fine, currently has a flat tire and dead battery, boom done.

2004 Grand am. Engine is hit, just wore out (240K). Perfect body/interior. Mint. Batteries flat, tires can be inflated enough to get it to a scrape yard for 250 bucks. 2010 Cobalt(220K, Hopeing to get to 240m to get ten miles around the earth), only thing it's salvageable. 2 intake/outtake sensors, one camshaft sensor,60 bucks total.

the cars sitting a while may have flat spots on the tires.

    3 volvos(80's), 2 ford trucks(70's), 2 chevy trucks(70/80's), Plymouth car and a couple other beaters.

June moving to Knoxville is barrelling down. I have to get rid of all of them.

I mean---isnt that basically hiring someone directly because of their color and excluding a pool of other people that may have the same or better credentials.

This is what bugs me when I hear the media complain about lack of African American or Hispanic coaches in the NFL. If we are preaching equality, as in race and ethnicity don't matter, only credentials, than we should have roughly the same percentage of head coaches that are black or Hispanic as we do for the population of the United States.

Why do we need half the coaches to be minority when they don't make up 25 percent of the population? Certainly someone would be called racist or bigot if they hired someone just because they were white, right? Why aren't we holding the same standards for other races?

Wouldn’t it be same same percentage as the amount of players in the sport and not the population? I think that about 70% of all NFL players are black. That’s a huge majority yet the management numbers are quite the opposite. When looking at credentials, wouldn’t the players be at the top of that list?

Why? Being great at a sport doesn't translate to being a great coach at said sport.

Matt Painter never made the NBA and was an average-to-below average Big Ten player. Do you like him as a coach?

The level someone plays at is not the level someone coaches at.

In the NFL or in general? And this is only an NFL issue. Nobody has this issue with the other sports. Baseball managers were usually shitty MLB players or couldn't even make it out of the minors.

Wayne Gretzky is the greatest hockey player of all time. No argument, the greatest. He had a head coaching record of 143-161-24. He was below average as a coach. Being a great player ≠ being a good coach and vice versa.
