You broke my heart at 16 when you left KU. I enjoyed some of your silly losses and was happy for some of the wins. You were there when I fell in love with basketball. You care about young men and the game.

I expected to be happy when Roy hung it up. Today I am actually sad. Thank you Roy. One of the greatest

I was never in the bitter camp when Roy left. It's hard to expect him to turn down family and Dean Smith twice. Plus, he gave us the classic "I don't give a shit about North Carolina" line.

If Collison could make a free throw or two vs Syracuse, it would've been a nice cap to his KU career.
