I think that was Devin Askew.

Maybe something will finally click for Askew but he was the 2nd worst all time 3pg% in UK history, and he's even worse this year at UT. He still has time to up it though.

Sheriff was high on askew, but he was high on a frosh guard from texas as well. Said beard picked him over higher rated guards from texas bc he really liked his game/potential iirc.

he was def high on askew too tho esp after beard talkin bout he could be one of rhe best ever lol

If you see Jaylon Tyson getting minutes for Texas early
Watch out for him. He is a legit scorer.
Could make it tough to keep him off the court.

Everyone is talking about the transfers but Chris Beard felt like Tyson was the #1 player in the state.
Tyson and Avery Benson were the only players he wanted from Tech
Because Benson is pretty much a grad assistant.
Because Tyson has that much upside as a scorer.

Kind of messed up he played like 9 mins but has to give up a year of eligibility.

Remember when Sheriff was arguing that a sophomore Devin Askew would have a bigger impact than a freshman TyTy Washington? Surprise, surprise.

I like Washington.

But he will be another player who needs time to develop.
Askew vs Washington.

There is a chance Washington can step up early. Percentage is somewhat low.
I like Washington because he can impact the game in every way.

Maybe has more upside than Askew. But as of right now Askew is a better player.

Washington is a lot more raw than Askew was coming into college

Trashing Askew just shows that.

But he has the ability to be a quality college basketball guard
Wasn’t that as a freshman. Maybe you were stupid enough to think he was
But..
You also think TyTy Washington is already one of the better guards in the game.
He would be on the bench as well
