Horrible, horrible disease. Killed my grandfather as well as my best friend when he was 18. For most types of leukemia the long-term prognosis in not good. Hoping this kid can beat the odds, that is sad to hear.

Hopefully! Over the past 15 years or so 5-year survival rate has drastically increased for all types.
