As a whole, a very insecure fan base but the UK fans here are good people.
I have never even posted on that board yet I am somehow banned from there. Place seems like a joke

I do want to know why all the fuss. Unfortunately, you came up short on explaining it.
RR gets talked about because there are a ton of people here that go over there to find ammo on UK fans to use here.
I get it, RR is full of some really blind homers that are extremely jealous of other programs for whatever reason and spout off daily. Doesn't mean they're bad people, they are just crazy homers.
But you know what, there are some damn good posters over there too. There are some posters that are very knowledgeable and respectful, but some here don't want to bring that up.
Go to any other home board and you'll find some dumbasses too, it's not just RR.
RR just happens to be the most lively college sports board there is, so it's an easy target .

RR is unique due to three reasons.
1. The amount of posters/UK fans on there. It has more traffic than any other home board and likely more than several of the other top boards combined. This leaves you with a lot of crazy people. However, when you think even a couple Duke fans are wanting K gone on this board, the percentage of sane to crazy people is pretty close.
2. RR isnt treated like a home board. Most home boards only talk about theirselves or rivals. RR has topics pop up about all big teams, smaller teams, Highschool recruits, college games from all divisions, etc... Its more like a general basketball board that focuses on UK.
3. Since there is so much traffic, certain teams are mentioned several times a week/day. So people think they are obsessed with those teams. So 5 or 6 active threads will be about team A on RR, but there is 100 threads that are "active". Go to team A's board, and there will be 10 active threads and 2 will be about UK. Yet only one side is "obsessed".
Ps- I don't post there. Usually only visit for recruiting news, injury updates, etc....

Its the most populated sports message board by far....... so yes its going to have more idiots than other boards so its fun for people to point and laugh at.
Every fan base has the same percentage of idiots to normal people ....... its just most fan bases use twitter to act like an idiot where as BBN uses a message board.

Every home board does, but RR takes a beating on here. I understand why, but the people that are making the comments should look at their own home boards.
Della you should come on over and say hello. Don’t let them know you’re a female as they will expect nudes. We are a fickle group that only gets upset when we don’t win a championship every 4 years and a final four every four. The refs are always a big conversation as they all suck. Also, for duke nation, we have tons of duke talk over there. Some are so in love with duke I’m surprised they have joined Devils illustrated yet
This, I remember Rivals used to have a number for active members on each board a RR had like 8,000 members active at any given time while most other boards were 200-500
