The Auburn game was a fvcking disgrace but still not as bad as what happened to Texas Tech. It's embarrassing these horrific calls keep happening in sports. In championship games no less
Hell of a run, @jhmossy. UVA was the best, most consistent team all year long, but the best team doesn't always close the deal.
I like to think FSU had a small part in this. Jack Salt was pretty blunt with his "we got punked" statement after the ACC tourney game. Seems like that was a bit of a kick in the ass for a team that didn't play as well as it probably should have down the stretch of the regular season.

We played pretty poorly all tournament (outside of the TT game) and still the Pac 12 tourney champ, Big 10 regular season champ, SEC tourney champ, and Big 12 regular season champ couldn't take us out. Thanks for punking us and sparking this run to the championship.
Obviously last year played a part too. But it just seemed like UVA had a different look in their eyes late in games. Like they knew they would make the plays.
