Some Auburn defensive stats this season…

He really is. The 8 blocks don’t account for the 10 or so other shots that he effects each game also.
Or his pass deflections. Or shots that he forces guys not to take at all.

He is a weapon once he steps on the court.

I haven't seen enough games to know what a key would be to neutralize his impact. You probably need to get him in foul trouble or somehow have a 5 man that shoots from the perimeter to draw him out from the paint. I know UCONN has a solid big man and that game was epic but I don't recall the details of that game, other than it was epic.

Uconn was before auburn really had its chemistry going. There big man did shoot the ball really well though. Kessler has had a foul trouble a few times this year but cardwell is not a bad back up. He can be solidly defensively as well

FULL homer. I can't remember the last defensive player that impacted a game as much as Kessler does. The last few seasons it has been guards winning the award (I think?) and they can't disrupt the game like he does. Is Anthony Davis the last guy that had this much respect in the paint?

*Edit: Forgot about the Kansas center Azubuike
