Just listening to Bilas and co. discussing Duke’s J. Johnson, and Kentucky has T. Clarke who had an “ankle injury” that has gone from no boot to a boot, and being out for well over a month now. Seems a bit suspect despite claims the injury is legit, without any explanation of injury specifics. Sounds like similar stories.

Yea I mentioned in another thread, ethical or not, johnson could have avoided all the negative backlash had he just had a “lingering injury”

I’ve also been skeptical of Clarke’s injury, but then I saw today where Lykes from Miami is out for the rest of the year with a lingering sprained ankle which he’s been out for 2 months or so already and he’s like 5”6 senior with little to no shot of playing in the nba, bc of his size not bc he’s not a good player. So who knows with Clarke. I will say that Calipari did him no favors in regards to fans speculating on how legit his injury is. But I agree with Everything Cal said, just not so sure he should have said anything at all, but not a huge deal either way imo.
