Hated the way the refs just stopped everything in the OT. They looked inept. Both teams will play better ball down the road for sure.
It was a good game with 2 nasty, physical defenses.
I thought Franklin did a very good job on him.
Barnes was great after the game too. Didn’t sound like a freshmen. Honestly, Hamilton doesn’t usually even let the freshmen be interviewed until ACC play, but he’s just polished. And when you’re hitting game winners...guess you gotta give a quote.

Scottie Barnes came thru clutch with that shot... and stayed calm and focused afterwards, went straight to the bench to listen to Coach Hamilton's gamelan for the final defensive stand...
Then once the game was over started smiling and celebrating.
I like that.

Florida State is the best team in the ACC, no way they started the year outside of the top 20 while Duke and UK started in the top 5.
Fanbase(non-basketball fans) have hated on him the last two years but are seeing the dividends for continuing to play him even when he was making mistakes. He is a mismatch and effects games on both ends of the floor
He’s come a long way. 4 star kid but was really overweight coming in. Never gonna be ripped but needed to shed some baby fat.
He’s really put in the work over the last 24 months, learning behind guys like Mfiondu Kabengele, Terance Mann, etc.
Honestly, he’s like a super poor man’s Draymond Green. He’d make a great left tackle or heavyweight fighter. Quick hands and great balance for a big guy. Deceptively fast first step. He’s a versatile defender and is now coming along offensively too.
We had a guy years ago that was near 400lbs. They called him Big Jelly. When I first saw Gray I thought Little Jelly would be a good nickname. He’s improved his body composition the last year or so. Playing better so far.
