The comity knows there will be people upset no matter who gets in. So they will pick the 4 best teams..

    1 Bama
    2 Clemson
    3 Oklahoma
    4 UGA

Those are the 4 best teams period.

I wouldn't disagree, but ND should go over GA just simply by virtue of being undefeated. Even if ND had a CCG and lost, they would only have 1 loss, GA would still have 2.

If we hadn't played A conference championship and we and Bama just sat home tonight like ND would we still end the season number four?

If yes, why should losing to the top team in an extra game hurt us?

If not, then ND should fall out of the top four. They should be penalized for not playing a conferences championship.

I don't know if that the best 4 but the results of the selection would be the most entertaining.

Possibly. I think most might agree Notre Dame is a better fit, however. Two loss exclusionary rule would still be in effect.

Why does Georgia get a third chance? And if they win what does it say about the process? I don't like the seedings. I think my method works better. Admit everyone with a claim to the Belt. That's Alabama, that's Ohio St., that's UCF and that's Penn St. Two loss exclusionary removes Penn St. Have Clemson and Notre Dame play in the ACC championship and allow the winner access.

Why would LSU not get in over georgia? LSU was CLEARLY better than Georgia when they played. I would like to hear your reasoning for that.

Not to Georgia fans, all you have to do is look good to some people and you should be gifted the 4th spot.

I mean did you not watch them on Saturday? They didn't even get blown out.

Notre Dame's win over #8 Michigan is better than any win on Georgia's schedule. They also beat 9 win top 20 Syracuse by almost 5 touchdowns. (Clemson beat Syracuse by a whole 4 points)

Look I know you're a homer, but under no objective measure should Georgia be in. The way I look at it you played 3 really good teams, Georgia went 1-2 in those games, and against LSU they got blown out by 3 touchdowns. No I'm not considering overrated Mizzou and A&M in my rankings just like I'm not including Northwestern for Notre Dame.

By the way, nice non conference schedule. Those games against Austin Peay, Middle Tennessee, UMass, and Georgia Tech must've been real tough. You should be left out on that alone.

You and the SEC pole smoker Herbie can go kick sand.

How many games did Georgia lose this year? 2

How many games did ND lose this year? 0

How many games did Clemson lose? 0

How many games did ‘Bama lose? 0

How many games did OU lose? 1

You’re right, Georgia should totally be #4Eyeroll

How would giving Texas their 5th loss prove that UGA deserves to be included?

Does UGA even have a win as good as ND’s over Michigan?
(let alone enough to make up for 2 losses....lol)

    Lesson:
Be “good enough” to beat LSU and you won’t have this issue.

    Serious question:
Who has Georgia beaten this year?

What wins do they have that makeup for getting BLOWN OUT by LSU?

So losing by 3 touchdowns to a 3 loss team qualifies as a top four team?

Not a single win over a team with less than 3 losses qualifies as a top 4 team?

Why play the games at all. Just appoint teams based the Barry Every eye test and recruiting rankings.

Guess so. lSU had three loses, Georgia two. So when does the losses start counting? To op must not be two, must be three. That's my point. Georgia lost to Alabama and lsu, lsu lost to alabama, t&M and florida and they beat decisively georgia. Georgia just like osu needed take care of business and they would be in and neither did. Too bad.

I think UGA gets in at 4 if ND lost a CCG. I don't believe in their team, actually, and think they will get run out of the building.

Yea iam a homer but I dont think UGA belongs in with 2 loses. I just dont think ND is a top 4 team even undefeated. The only team ND played ranked higher than 20th all year was Michigan and we all saw what OSU did to them. So yall beating them really means nothing.

UGA played the #1, 14, 10, 11,and 23 ranked teams this year. but yea what you need to say to make yourself feel better about your schedule. I mean UGA would of been undefeated on yalls schedule to.

Honestly i think UCF would beat ND

    Bama..terrible loss at home.
    Florida..another bad loss.
    A&M..loss when we should've won.

That's easy even for a homer.

ND was 1/1 against teams with fewer than 3 losses.

That makes their success rate more than 1000000x better than Georgia's.

But you're still trying to argue that Georgia was anything other than "100% Deserving of being LEFT OUT....because they're NOT Top4"??

    Yikes.

Unfortunately, you can't be a Top 4 team with "moral victories"

Fortunately, you can be, regardless of your "hypothetical losses"

"Best 4 Seasons" could be interpreted in numerous ways too.

But completely ignoring results the way that Georgia fans want to.....that's just dumb.

Sure it could..........that is why college football should agree to rules that define what a better season is. That said, whether or not Georgia should be in should be about if they get more credit for their season and not because they perceived as a better team than anyone else.

    Agree and disagree.

CFB has agreed to rules (Playoff Committee) and the committee has completely nailed it.

So the system appears to be working!

There are no rules that allow you to know what beats what. It is just people voting based on in the moment justifications.
