Projected 1 seeds: Gonzaga, Duke, Auburn, Kansas

Michigan, in my opinion, is the most deserving team of a #1 seed at this point. They've walloped three very solid teams in Villanova, North Carolina, and Purdue. About as impressive start as any team could hope to have.

Also, it's weird to see Virginia Tech as a projected 2 seed with a decent chance (16%) of earning a 1 seed. Alexander-Walker, Robinson, and Hill form one of the most dynamic backcourts in the country. Still, it's still weird to see Virginia Tech that high. Just used to seeing them being middle of the pack, occasionally flirting with the top 25.

Yeah Michigan looking good so far. I’ve had these 4 well out ahead of everyone else but Michigan has moved into that group or at least close to it.

Purdue is 5-3 and their next two games are tough. They could easily be 5-5 soon. Villanova lost to Furman and nearly lost to some other school named La Salle.

UNC is good though. That’s a good win.

I’d say Gonzaga is as deserving with their resume as Michigan. Obviously the Duke win was big, and they have another 4 wins over power 6 conference teams in Texas A&M, Illinois, Arizona and Creighton. Not all of those teams are great but they are from big time conferences.

Another goldmine from denim vest. Bring back catsctatchbeliber I’m sure you have the ability to do so.

Don't worry, this is just the annual overrating of Virginia Tech.

VT will fall. Not having a Defense always catches up to them in ACC play. It’s just hard to be a 2 or 3 seed with 9 or 10 losses.

Villanova certainly isn't what they were last year. But, they're still a good team. They have wins over Florida State (ranked) and Oklahoma State (probably more of an NIT team). I think they'll probably end up with a 4 or 5 seed this year... Also, Furman is currently ranked. So while they're not a high profile program, they appear to have quality players this year.

Purdue very easily could have won the games against both Virginia Tech and Florida State. I don't think they're the Big Ten favorites, but they certainly have one of the best players in the country - and I think he can carry them to a top 25ish season... The sample size is still fairly low, but Michigan looks really, really good.

Hmm as I recall that was a diehard UK fan that liked to give us Aubs a hard time. But I’ll see what I can do...

You can look at those % chance of winning conference and see they think that the BIG is the toughest to win.
Not sure what you’re looking at on that but I do know these science and math wizards see Auburn as an overwhelming favorite to cruise to a 2nd straight SEC title.

SpartyRBS is a bitter troll.

Hailtoyourvictor calling someone a troll. That’s interesting.

Michigan is 8-0 and no team has came within 17 points and you’re here pouting about it. It’s comical. Three of those games being against tournament level teams.
