Another season in the books and the gap between the Big 6 and the rest seems bigger than ever. The most interesting thing seems to be the relegated teams. West Brom, Stoke and Swansea were looked at just a couple of years ago as examples of how to run small clubs and succeed. I can't believe Huddersfield stayed up.

What were the preseason odds on Huddersfield staying up? Bet that would've been a profitable bet.

I wish the promotion playoffs (in England as well as Germany) were on mainstream tv here. Those are fascinating to me, seeing as how those are the kind of matches that can alter the trajectory of clubs' entire futures-- you'd think they'd be more available

Wolverhampton and Cardiff City are promoted.

Playoffs for the last spot --
Derby 1-0 Fulham after 1 leg
Middlesbrough 0-1 Aston Villa after 1 leg

    Bundesliga:
FC Köln and Hamburg are relegated. Fortuna Düsseldorf and FC Nürnberg are promoted.
Wolfsburg to face Holstein Kiel in the pro/rel playoff

A lot of the juice was gone this year because City was so dominant. Their championship was a foregone conclusion from like Mid January. My Spurs just can’t seem to get over the hump.

ESPN bought the rights toe The Championship flight from BeIn and it disappeared. Maybe it's on 3 or something but it's buried.

I watched the Fox coverage on FS2 Saturday where they were going around the league showing all the goals for CL spots and relegation. It was pretty wild, especially the Hamburg fans setting off fireworks behind the goal.

Spurs have to keep Pochettino and Kane, that has to be the goal. I think with some added depth Liverpool will give Man City a battle next year.

It’s most interesting to me to look down at Championship, League One and League Two to see how far some solid sides from the 90s have fallen.

Coventry City (all the way down in League Two, for gogs sake, after being the longest tenured club in the top level before they dropped).

Sheffield Wednesday (although they seem to be on the upswing).

Sunderland about to make the drop from Championship.

I like Liverpool’s operation a lot. I think Poch moves on. I think Kane will be the first talent they actually don’t let walk. Time will tell. They’ll probably lose Alderwerald though. Big loss.

It's on ESPN+ which I don't know much about, but apparently it's a paid subscription service not accessible to people with the regular ESPNs like WatchESPN is. Lame

I saw the Hamburg scenes too, that was pretty wild. They were pissed. I wonder if Bobby Wood stays there now

I hope he moves on, D2 in Germany isn't going to help him much. I don't know his contract situation but he should explore the Championship at least.

I remember some Twitter rumors back in January window that a Championship club was interested(can't remember which) but after the season he had there might not be much interest in him. Guess someone in MLS would be happy to have him though.

Hey man, I clipped you at the end of the fantasy league. Saved my bench boost all year and got lucky. We were within 50 points of each other the whole season but I think we were the only ones halfway paying attention

It's crazy how far Sunderland have fallen. People in that town have nothing else. They have to be devestated.

    Newcastle supporters laughing it up

People have been claiming that for generations now, but soccer has quietly become one of America's favorite sports.

Any thoughts on who will manage EPL's revolving door, Chelsea? I'm hearing they'll go after Pochettino, but I'd love Simeone to manage the Blues.

Thought I heard that it could be Jose's long time assistant. Some guy that's been with him 20 years. Seems like a big job for an assistant to me.

I’ve heard Pochettino linked to Real Madrid. His final interview after this weekend’s match was kind of cryptic implying that the Spurs need to find a new way to play. Does that mean that he wants to evolve the shape? The way they play in the shape? Or does that mean a new guy is coming in because he’s bolting?

It’s Spurs so I fully anticipate being kicked in the junk and will be pleasantly surprised if he stays.

Doubt they will with Levy as owner, he's a good businessman, but will never spend what he needs to.

Possibly, I think IF he goes, it won't be to another EPL team..no starting position at this time at City or Liverpool, doubt he'd go to ManU. I think Poch will move on, but to either Serie A or LaLiga.

You should be used to that..

There are some good videos out about the various hooligan groups (ManU's Red Army, Chelsea Headhunters, West Ham's ICF, etc)

A good series to watch is The Real Football Factories, hosted by Danny Dyer. First series is all about the English Firms, the second is International, goes to Brazil, Argentina, Croatia, Serbia, Italy, Turkey, etc and talks about and interviews firms there, BTW, they're all nuts..lol

The Movie The Football Factory (starring Dyer) was pretty good, it was fictional but was about Chelsea Headhunters, ironic since Dyer is a die hard West Ham supporter. Also, The Firm with Gary Oldman is good.

They are also actual footage of Millwall and West Ham fans going at it if you search YouTube. Hundreds in the streets, SWAT teams, etc etc.....good times.

I watched that series on Netflix. I found it hilarious that the fans on Man U hated the Liverpool fans because LFC was always going to Europe in the 80's. The Liverpool hooligans were knocking off stores all over Europe and bringing back the latest swag and all the the other English fans were jealous of the latest track suits and Filas
