This broken wrist situation got me thinking. If you had to choose, would you rather maintain the ability to move you hands or legs?

No doubt in my mind. I much rather have use of my hands than legs. It would be incredibly tough to post on Rivals without my hands.

Hands. I could still play bass and toss. If I didn’t have legs, I probably couldn’t drive thus never worrying about a getting a DUI. Easy choice for me.

It depends on the point where leg function ends considering the technological advances in prosthetics.

That being said, my dad lost use of his (dominant) right arm and lung just before I entered the third grade. Try performing some every day functions with your non-dominant hand and no help from the dominant hand.

Edit: Considering the things I like/need to do, I can still throw some performance parts at my wheelchair.

This should never have been a question for me, but I've been lifting a glass that I doubt my feet could handle.

He was jerking it, tripped, and broke it on his coffee table. Not buying the softball injury.

Had a co-worker break both wrist at same time. Never asked, but was curious how he wiped his*** after a visit to the commode.

Legs. Next to a back break, it's the worst. Often heals a little shorter than the other leg leaving you with a limp. Takes a lot longer to heal also

Handbrake, throttle, shift, mid 11s, no spray, no feet, no problem.

Under the rear bumper he has a panel that says, I don't walk away.

You can drive easily without legs. Hand controls have come a long way.

Prosthetic legs can be cool looking and be hidden. Prosthetic arms, not so much.

Clearly hands. It's only a matter of time before we get some Lee Majors action going on. Then I can run in the olympics with some kick-ass theme song music playing as I run.
