Pitino says UVA is a Lock to Make Final 4

Is he intentionally trying to jinx UVA because of how they got constantly wrecked by the Hoos? Unless I see some drastic changes from some of the other potential 2 or 3 seeds, I'm very confident that I'll have UVA in my Final Four.

UVA looks like the total package. They run a very efficient offense with great outside shooting and their defense is as potent as they come.

It'll take a 15 seed or better to beat them this year.

But seriously, they are the most sound team in the country right now.

I’d have to agree with this. When Zion is healthy and Duke is firing on all cylinders I’d take them over the hoos, but this UVA team is playing their best ball right now. Scary scary team, not looking forward to Saturday.

Pretty sure two teams from the same conference can't be 1 and 2 seeds in the same bracket. I don't even think two teams from the same conference can be top 4 seeds in the same bracket unless there are at least 5 teams from the same conference on the 4 line or better.

Pretty sure @dukedevilz can weigh in on the rules.

Not certain about the rules. But the only thing I remember hearing about seeding conference teams in the same bracket is that they wouldn't be able to play each other until the sweet sixteen at the earliest.

What’s weird is that if the favorites win between now and Saturday, we actually move up to a 6 seed instead of a 7 in ACCT, even with a loss.

According to RealCardGame:
Clemson at home over Cuse
Nc State 2-0 this week (Georgia Tech & at BC)
Virginia beats Louisville
North Carolina beats Duke

Gives us a 6 seed. Yeah it’s a lot of games, but very possible imo.
