    Hah! I wish!

Actually, funny story... his daughters class like three or four years ago did a fathers pancake breakfast. So he emails me and was like “I thought you might like this.” And he sends me a photo of the class, with all the dads, with the caption “When you see it you’ll know it.” So I’m like wtf.... so I look and look at the picture... and I’m like “Wait, what am I looking for? Is it this guy who is smiling so big? Is it these two guys doing a bro pose..? Is it... wait, is that ROD STEWART?”

Sure enough yeah, there is Rob Stewart in the bottom corner, with sun glasses and his hair all done and rockstarred out, looking like someone superimposed a photo of him into a photo of a classroom full of dads. Apparently his daughter was in class with Stewart’s. It was so damned funny:)

See, I didn’t care that much about them. Too dark, too “serious”, too many silly deep voices. Ledger was great, but if you asked me what happened in them I’m not sure I could tell you.

Not a big fan of DC in general.

Eh, the Dark Knight was awesome but the rest of the "trilogy" was just ok. Last one was pretty boring.

That’s fair. I like the dark and serious tone. To me, the Marvel movies are mostly corny.

Did you watch Joker? If not you'd love it, dark and serious AF.

Yeah it was really good. A little disturbing, but a good movie. I’d like to see Phoenix in the new Batman trilogy coming up.

Ehhh, he wasn't exactly a criminal mastermind. Not sure how that version of the joker would really work.

Still waiting to play warzone with @tw3301 and @bkingUK

I have played Xbox with @TheDude1 and @SNU0821 and they are both still alive and posting. Just in case anyone was nervous.

I ended up buying the game, prefer spec ops to Warzone- more action.

See, I've been telling this mofo that.

I get that the whole "surviving until the end/every fight is game-ending serious" can be fun, but the way I see Warzone is this...

    Sneak
    Sneak
    Find some crappy guns
    Sneak
    Sneak
Run at full speed to avoid the gas
    Sneak
BAM get shot when I turn a random corner and I don't win

    Or this...

    Sneak
    Sneak
    Find some good guns
    Sneak
    Sneak
Hide at the back of the map
    Sneak
    Sneak
    Hide some more
    Sneak
    Sneak
    Run to avoid the gas!
Giant OMG wild firefight as eight guys are suddenly in a tiny circle after 20 minutes of no shooting and BAM I get shot turning a corner and I don't win

Any mode on a shooting game that rewards A) not shooting and B) hiding at the back of a map... to me, that's not ideal.

I enjoy a shooting game where guns are always up, you are always covering, you are moving tactically and as a unit... like the Rainbox Six games, those whupped ass. And I hate the artificial time impositions of the gas. Lemme move at the speed dictated by the terrain, by my teammates, by the firefight... don't make me move because the game wants to force us closer together.

Still, I'll play, because I bought the game to play with that damn redneck.

yeah plus the "free to play" thing is true but if you want the best guns please spend $25 on this pack or that bundle and then another $25 the following week.

@bMORE607 I just watched this earlier. Ever heard of this Showtime doc, or familiar with it?

    Pretty good.

    Basketball County: In the Water

A fascinating examination of a remarkable community, this documentary tells the story of Prince George's County, Md., and its social, economic and cultural evolution through the lens of some of basketball's biggest stars. Since 2000, the county just outside the nation's capital has spawned some 25 NBA players, more than a dozen WNBA players, and countless more who have competed at elite universities, highlighting the decades-long prevalence of basketball within the region.

it's not as good as R&M, but I also recommend it. Pretty sure the main guy is voiced by the same actor as Rick from R&M.

Yea Justin Roiland is co creator of both and voices the main characters. I think the show has a lot of promise. Definitely looking forward to season 2.

So just so everyone knows how big of a pouter @TheDude1 is

Last night, we are playing ball with my cousin on 2k. We get down like, idk, 12 to 5 or something like that. And my big man starts flopping and going Benedict Arnold on the squad. Me, with my amazing offensive skillset, allow us to come back and win the game. Thedude is completely silent during our comeback and was mentally checked out the rest of the night on 2k. Has anyone ever gotten down 7 points in anything and waived the white flag? I am calling him out to end this nonsense :)

Uh, I fell down once. After my fifth straight layup didn’t go in. And I don’t know how you say mentally checked out when I had the defensive stop and then got the steal that won that game, and when I dominated every game after?

Hey, I’m not the one who yells at everyone that they are garbage and then bails on the night when it’s getting frustrating, leaving the rest of us to play, sometime without even saying good night;)

I know I've got a shit temper for meaningless frustrating stuff, but J is the only one of us who doesn’t give up on 2k sometimes ;-)

BTW, here is the one that sent me over the top. 97.8 overall 7'3 interior finisher with like a 98 close up scoring rating.

You can just call me Michael Jordan. I insult and bully my teammates until they are up to my standard! Plus, lets me honest, I say way more terrible things to brandon and red because they are family lol

Yeah, you do that a lot less with me and J:) But don't go pretending you and I don't get SERIOUSLY frustrated with that game and sometimes give up. Red, B, and J don't, but you and I... brothers from another mother;)

And I think we won every single game from that one on, right?

Yeah, no idea why he didn't. This guy is actually fairly ferocious, in terms of dunking... everything dunk related on HoF, and my standing dunk is like a 98. But post offense on 2k is... well, it can be frustrating at times;)

Won $80 in wagers the other day. Went 2-0 in best of three 2v2 and then 2-0 in best of three 3v3 against friends of mine that were cocky.

such a stupid idea. This is a golden opportunity to let the viewers hear everything that happens on the court. Mic the players and the court, don't pump in crowd noise. That's how it should be done.

I don't care if you hear some bad language, we just survived a pandemic and countrywide rioting, I think 12 year olds can hear the word fvck and not die.
