No spoilers, but Succession is great. some scene's made me belly laugh and cringe at the same time.

If you like shows with middling attractive lead female characters, very slow story, and intense man on man rape give Outlander a try. Otherwise stick with succession, it's actually good.

Is Justified worth a stream on Hulu?

First season sucked balls, the rest were pretty good. I almost quit halfway through the first season. Horrible. If you watch it, know it gets a lot better.

Couldn't agree more. Gave up on the first season because it was awful and they tried to squeeze every Kentucky stereotype into it they could. Once the show had finished I went back and streamed the other seasons and they were pretty solid.

In a show full of great characters, Roman is by far my favorite.

He is such a twisted weak little shit... but SO good. McCulkin just NAILS his charm and charisma and slime. The whole thing with him being unable to have sex, and the disgusting Geri thing, just makes me cringe.

What are some suggestions for shows to binge watch? The following are the only things I have watched and know about in the past 20 years.

    Narcos
    Breaking Bad
    Better Call Saul
    The Office
    Seinfeld
    Friends
    Lost
    Sopranos

I've seen some of Westworld. I've seen some of True Detective. I have seem some of Sons of Anarchy.

Succession intrigues me but there really is so much to choose from. I don't know what to pick.

I think I'm gonna try Succession. My wife is intrigued by the trailer.

    What about Silicon Valley?

Man, I tried this out a couple of years ago when I was alone for a weekend. I just didn't laugh at all. I like the premise, and the characters and all, I just didn't like the execution I guess.

I'm a huge fan of Mike Judge's (Beavis and Butthead, King of the Hill, Office Space) Silicon Valley. One of the very few shows, I've watched more than once. I'm also a fan of Curb your enthusiasm.

    Billions is also good.

Gotta say I don't agree with some of the other posters here. Justified is a great show pretty much from beginning to end. The season with Michael Rappaport is a little off, but other than that a great show.

Surprised by the negative comments, I've never heard anyone say a bad thing about it till reading this thread.

    @schoonerwest ...

Silicon Valley is ****ing FUNNY. Totally worth a watch.

The Wire is one of the best shows ever.

Band of Brothers is short, but the BEST single piece of media in history.

Game of Thrones was ****ing MIND BLOWING, although it ended a bit weak. But still, absolutely amazing.

    Deadwood is short but great.

All HBO, I just realized, but HBO does the best shows:)

I would have said game of thrones but the last season kinda killed my soul so I'd pass on that.

    Deadwood is awesome, highly recommend.

I thought Deadwood was good for 1 season and then it dropped off. Season 3 was awful. I heard the movie sucked.

Silicone Valley is great, highly recommended.

    Band of Brothers amazing.

A hidden gem on Netflix is Happy Valley, great show from BBC.

Was there 2 or 3 seasons? However many, the final season was pretty bad too. 2nd season was ok. 1st season was awesome.

Eh, I liked all 3 of the seasons and the movie. I was very disappointed that they ended the series so soon. It does take awhile to figure out the lingo they use, definitely can't watch it with a kid around.

Loved Deadwood when it was on. Tried watching the movie, but it was so long between the last episode and the movie, I couldn't remember shit about what had happened. Definitely ended to early. IMO.but would still recommend it.

They are Canucks. It took me just a bit to get into them, after that, It's one of my all time favorite shows ever. I've even went to see them, and Randy, here in Memphis. They had a whole thing down here (episode 5). Performed a stand up skit(s) at a local place downtown. The wife absolutely hates it, but Outlander is one of her favorite shows ever so there's that.

Season who gives a shit of Outlander, comes on this month. So I have that to look forward to. It's a whole thing with her, lights out, everything set. I do less prep when jerking off. Now that I think of it, she's probably jerking off under the throw blanket.

I’m a couple of episodes in and I don’t think the first season is too bad. Wish there was a little more continuity from episode to episode, but not bad
