I didn't see it, but he is a funny mofo. I read it, and I laughed at the Epstein line. Gervais is great at those little asides to the audience.

Yea---he is one of a kind. I found it hilarious, but there will always be detractors. He took shots at everyone....but our outrage culture can't let jokes be jokes. Im sure people will take issue with jokes that they shouldn't.

I wasn't sure how I'd like Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, but it was pretty good. Pretty sure that just wrapped up that whole series of films.

Crazy to think I rented Clerks on VHS when I was 19.

@Longstrangetrip Who would you say is the best vocalist, lead guitar and bassist in the history of the world? I have my opinions, but curious to see who you say first.

Hmm. Vocals I would give it to Adel, lead I would say Eddie V or Steve Vai, couple other as well honestly. As for bass, for me, its this guy

The wife and I FINALLY started Succession... enjoying it so far.

Looking forward to 1917! I had no idea it was a single-shot movie, which is f'ing MINDBLOWING for a war movie.

Yeah, they didn't FILM it in one shot... but I don't think they did it in very many shots, and the whole thing is stitched together so you don't see them.

There are a few famous movies that use that... Rope, by Hitchcock, was one shot (with hidden cuts) and I remember there was a CRAZY scene in Children of Men, it was like 8 minutes of stress all in one ACTUAL shot.

Here is a link to an article about some of the great single shots in history (including the Children of Men one.)

Haven't seen it. Watched a vid about the filming though and yes it's made to look like a single shot with no transitions. No clue how many actual shots it took. I can't wait to see it, looks very good. I used to hate watching tv with my dad because all he wanted to watch was westerns and war movies. Now I love both. Guess most of us really do become our parents.

Also, @tw3301, been busy but I'll try to figure out that Kodi stuff for you here soon.

So, we're watching an old show Wallander, it's a mystery/cop series from 15-20 years ago - based in Sweden, subtitles. Just got through Season 1 I think 12 or 13 episodes. It's pretty well done, really enjoyed it. Probably not for everybody, not easy to multi-task because of the subtitles. If you give it a shot, try a few episodes.

How about Sons of Anarchy? I saw the 1st episode it was so-so, seemed a little cheesy the wife wasn't into it. But I thought it had potential. Any of you guys have insight on Sons of Anarchy?

@tw3301 this one works well. Good quality and has IPTV with ESPN, SEC Network, HBO, etc.. Worst part is suffering through the guy's YT vid that shows you how to install.

If you know how to install and don't wanna sit through that YT vid the URL you install is https://xanaxrepo.com/repo

With the Kodi Iptv is there a channel list for any of them or are they pretty much anything you'd ever need?

(If you installed the xanax build from that YT link)

When you start Kodi look at the bottom of screen. Go down and click on The Crew (purple background with pic of black hat). If you're wanting ESPN, SEC, etc just click on Sports. Choose NBA or NCAAB or whatever and it will bring up list of channels with games on. If you're wanting regular TV, click on IPTV instead of sports (after you click The Crew). Should bring up several options (swift streams, iptv org, etc). Choose one and then scroll to US channels. It will bring up our channels. Some have more options than others.

I always use The Crew from the main screen. Then it's just a matter of searching around through the options (movies, sports, iptv, etc) and finding what you're wanting to watch. You can find almost anything. Some sections even have local channels.

When you first click on The Crew let it sit for 30 secs or so before you start navigating. If you start searching immediately it will be laggy because it tries to confirm add-ons everytime you click on The Crew.

About to watch Harriet when the wife gets home.
