Cory: if you like those dark humor movies: I strongly recommend en Bruge, six psychopaths, and kiss kiss bang bang

7 Psychopaths isn't it? Loved it if that is the case. I haven't seen the other two but I know 'en Bruge' is on my NF list.

Huge Mass Effect fan, just got Andromeda, played about an hour of it last night... very disappointed. I'm hoping it gets better but I'm not sure wtf they spent the last 5 years doing, they used the same game engine as Dragon Age Inquisition but the animation looks so much worse.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet (honestly haven't read the whole way through either) but I think some of you would really enjoy Layer Cake based on what I'm reading from you. Great movie, one of my all-time favorites. LA Confidential is another great movie.

I'm officially addicted to Battlefield 1. I've almost unlocked all the new guns in the new DLC (good guns btw). Operations in BF1 might be the best multiplayer game mode I've ever played.

Also, any FIFA players? I've made it up to Division 2 in Seasons Online with Bayern like 5 times now and get obliterated every time I'm promoted.

yeah 7 psychopaths.....En Bruge has Colin Farrell in it and is twistedly funny. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a Val Kilmer/Robert Downey JR movie that came out right before RDJ became iron man....it too is pretty funny. I like dark humor movies like snatch, lucky number slevin, brass off....hell the full monty is funny to me.

I get bored waiting for that damn thing to load. And then the match is like 45 seconds and its done. Then another 4 min of waiting. I will give it another try though. Are you on PS4 or Xbox?

XBox One. The loading is ridiculous...it's because the maps are so damn big. The new maps do load faster.

Typically when I play though it'll be on a night away from the girlfriend and I'll play a a round of two of Operations. Usually takes about an hour to complete game... that's why I like it. The new front lines mode can go on for like an hour and a half if teams are deadlocked.

Well, it is the off season...

Anyone watch Vikings? Started a few weeks ago, and thoroughly enjoying it. On season two.

Oh, while I know Star Wars: Rebels is made for kids, I enjoy it as much as my five year old son:)

I wouldn't say it's that made for kids, plenty of people killed in that show, and it's part of, or is going to be part of the timeline to the rest of the movie universe. Started watching Vikings....sort of lost interest, may have to give it a try again.

Also, saw Fate of the Furious last night...the cheese factor is pretty high in spots, but the action is a joy to watch. If you go in with the proper frame of mind, it's a lot of fun. Pretty epic car chase scene through the streets of New York....oh and Charlize Theron is hot as ever. (and yes I know the rules)[IMG]

Rumor is that the next call of duty will be world war 2 themed. Bout time for another boots on the ground game. Tired of thrust jumping like halo.

Good stuff. I've got to say, I THOROUGHLY enjoy BF1, even though I was a giant tank whore in Bf3 and 4. But suddenly I am enjoying running around with a bolt action rifle, plinking away. Crazytime.

Got by 2k17 guy up to All Star 5 last night, finally. 7 foot, 300 lb scoring post player... a big bruiser of a guy. I am just dominant in the post... the only issue is running into situations where I have to guard little guards. It is a pain in the ass, especially since everyone is a show boating 3 point shooter nowadays... not a traditional big out there. Pussies.

I've really enjoyed what I've played of Horizon so far. The story has been far more interesting than I was expecting.

Too bad they didn't make this decision a year earlier so Treyarch could have been the one to take us back to WW2. I don't have a ton of faith in Sledgehammer at this point. But the setting alone means I'll at least give it a shot after passing on the last two.

I really enjoyed Call of Duty: World at War. Came out right before MW2. I've long been waiting to play another game with the WWII theme.

Anyone want to post their gamertags? If anyone here is a big fan of battlefield, 2k, or Rory McIlroy PGA, add me! Those are my main three games right now

They really should have Xbox Live and Play Station Live on the same network. Talk about dividing the country.

Agreed black ops 1 was the best COD game, I'm half way excited for the new one. I skipped last year's installment but I'll probably pick the new one up. Hopefully it's just like an old school COD, no flying around BS.

I'm pretty sure that the next 3 COD games will all be boots on the ground. They go by 3 year cycles and this is the first year of the new cycle.

What what WHAT?! Oh dude, it is on. Although honestly, unless you have a post big, might be more fun to team up and crush people. I've got my regular crew, but we are always looking for someone...

Hm. How can I message you, so I don't give every Tom, Dick, and UNCfaninKY my handle? Hold on, lemme see if Jarms will help me out.

Blops 1 was great for cross the map tomahawks at the beginning of the game. Nothing quite as satisfying as that.

Been playing ghost recon for awhile. The open world is ridiculous...bound to be tons of Easter eggs in it. Shooting mechanics are great, missions get kind of repetitive tho.

Yeah, I enjoy recon, but the world isn't as vibrant or alive as a game like GTA, and it suffers for it.

I just finished Resident Evil 7 a couple weeks ago and then went to Walmart and saw that they had made and remastered the original Resident Evil and Resident Evil Zero for PS4 so I bought them and just finished the original and I'm getting ready start on Resident Evil Zero. I love all of those games. I hadn't played The original since about 2001. It was pretty awesome so if you haven't had a chance to play it I highly recommend it.

Shawshank all day over Saving Private Ryan. True Romance is great.

We only see a couple movies in the theater per year b/c of babysitting needs (well, habit, now, as the oldest can be the babysitter). Just a couple weeks ago we took our two older kids to see "The Zookeeper's Wife," which is a true story about a Polish zoo during WW2. It was pretty good. The timing was especially good b/c we'd just gotten back from DC where the same two older kids had been to the Holocaust Museum.

Agreed! Both are good, but Shawshank gets my vote, if I had to pick between the two.
