"Complaints about human waste around San Francisco increased by 400 percent from 2008 to 2018, according to 311. There were more than 21,000 reports made to 311 in 2017 alone. (Note: Some of the increase is likely due to more people using 311 when it became accessible through an app in 2013.)

The waste is largely linked to the thousands of people living in the city without housing and without access to public restrooms."

It's Cali, old news and no one cares.

Thankfully I live in East Bay, but these reports aren’t wrong. Take a walk through the Tenderloin on your way to Union Square sometime, then check the bottoms of your shoes.

The median house in San Francisco is valued at $1.61 million. Not sure why anyone would want to stay in defecation-ville, especially if you're able to sell for a decent price. The rent for an average studio is $2,453 in SF. That's double what I'm paying on my monthly mortgage for a 2400 sq foot home with 2-acres. Seriously don't understand the intrigue with this city that has insanely high prices...Perhaps the feces dilemma will depreciate the value of real estate, making housing more affordable.

Most of the poo is located in the tenderloin and the start of the mission/soma. A lotta homeless people. They street sweep every morning and night in SF. It’s still gross, but the city itself outside of those areas is gorgeous. Just an overpopulation of homeless people. The weather stays stagnant year round, they can literally lounge outside 24/7/365 and not suffer excruciating weather change. That’s why so many flock to Frisco. Def needs a change.
