NCAA schools falling short on cash-for-grades pay

With colleges allowed to pay each of their athletes up to $5,980 per year as a reward for academic performance, only 22 of 130 FBS-level schools have plans in place to do so, according to information gathered by ESPN.

Student athletes bonuses for academic success this year . It’s now legal for the schools to do so. Feels good to be one of original 21.

Uga and Bama have no need to do it. The football talent they have right now is not very concerned about school
