And for anyone (@dmaso44) who says I drafted Peyton because I'm a homer. It was an honest mistake. I actually messed up using the Search feature and QB filter. I thought I was on Drew Brees when I hit Draft Player. Laughing Plus, I took him in like the 3rd or 4th round, and it's 6pt passing TD's.

Seriously though, your WRs are a hair light but you look to have the team to beat if Charles and foster make it through the majority of the season healthy.

Some definite boom or bust guys. On paper, McCoy kind of robbed me of a true first rounder, but he could pay dividends.

Yeah will have to see how Jeffery does being the main man but happy with my core guys. Charles getting to 3rd and nabbing foster was nice. If the WRs pan out and no injuries i don't see how i can have a bad season.

Jarms team....did he maybe accidentally buy a 2010 fantasy magazine at the grocery store instead of 2015?

Manning, Johnson, Fitzgerald, Roddy White, Antonio Gates, Boldin?

Just grab Reggie Wayne, Fred Jackson and Brett Favre too to complete the oldest team ever

This was agreed upon by the majority. Just because you have a 3rd place team at best doesnt mean its lame.

Man, I know. Well, I had 4th pick, which isn't all that bad of a spot, but my strategy was to get a solid RB corps, which I think I did, along with a good QB. I do like the Peyton pick, although I actually meant to select Brees. Not happy with the WR corps at all, but didn't pick one until the latter rounds, so I was scraping the bottom of the barrel. I do think I got good value on the Gates pick, since I picked him late and had already locked up Graham. Gates is the only way Rivers finds the endzone, so if worse comes to worse, I can shop Graham. I also don't mind the Johnson pick either since Luck is under Center.

And just because it was agreed on by the majority doesn't mean it isn't lame. I think the depth of my team gets me a first round bye in the playoffs, but it's a crapshoot in the playoffs on a week-to-week basis. I rode Andrew Luck to my championship last year (6pt TDs, 5pt 300 yard passing bonus) and this is what happened in the championship:
    http://sports-ak.espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=400554444

    Something like $250 (1st), $100 (2nd), $50 (3rd place), $50 (top seed) makes more sense to me.

    Regardless, I'm ready to roll.

Ehh its how every sport crowns its champion. Tried avoiding the sit your players by not using week 17, I was more than willing to do winner takes all rather then spread the winnings out so thin. If you are on your game you will be rewarded.

I'm not sure you understand what variance is or how it applies here. I had the significantly better team going into the championship game (Week 16) last year and lost because of an incredibly flukey game where Andrew Luck netted 0 points by throwing 15/22 for 109 yards, 0 TDs and 2 INTs. Even with that bad week, he was #1 scoring player with 29.1 ppg last season.

To prevent better teams being screwed by one flukey week, I've always preferred more spread out payments.

Which is why we are paying the regular season champion as well. If I'm in the championship game i will offer to split the money with my opponent before it's played.

No i completely understand. I had Peyton last year along with Thomas and Thomas and despite winning the regular season lost in the first rd of the playoffs. If Luck throws 2 picks and no TDs, you deserve to lose the game, it sucks thats its the playoffs but thats how things work. Like Tdub said, there's a reason we pay $100 to the regular season winner. But to spread it out past that spreads out the winnings for the tournament which is what i didn't want to do nor the majority of the league. 3rd place in a $50 league in no way shape or form should get any money back. Now in a high entry fee league i can see it, but at $50 its about winning.

Point projections are always off. I remember the first time I ever played, I'd set my lineup based on the projections. I left so many points on the bench. Now, I just do the opposite of whatever Matthew Berry says. That dude is horrible!
