Upon rewatching, I don't know that Jon is going off to live with the Free Folk. I think he may just be escorting them back up North. He is wearing the all black "uniform" of the Watch.

This would make sense because he is so f-ing honorable it is not like him to duck out his sentence for killing Dany.

They need to do the prequel asap apparently..... I binged watched the final season and wow.... it was terrible compared to how it all began.... they could've made an 1 1/2 hour movie and been better..... way too much filler....

Nope Greyworm had zero ability to think for himself. He only knew how to blindly follow orders. He was born breed and raised to blindly follow orders and rules and he would never deviate from that.

Then he would have gone after Jon. ... In the story he was loyal to the only leader that was put before him and then he was loyal and took orders from the Kings council. This does not scream independence or loyalty to just Dany. He was a soldier and he followed orders.

Jon Snow was a bum. He was losing every battle he was in until he was bailed out by somebody else. Water even saved his ass from the night king (in that wilding village). He was killed by his own guys and brought back to life. He was spared his life by the two women he loved.... kills one and got the other killed. His family takes over the throne and they don’t even want him around. Oh and he yelled really loud at a zombie dragon.

Think they were really lost without Dany to tell them what to do. Tyrion was 2nd in command. In a foreign land to boot. Not saying it makes perfect sense but it's not completely ridiculous.

Jon's is the only ending that gets my approval. He should have never said shyt to Sansa. He could have kept tapping Dany. I mean, at that point he'd already shagged her. But nooo, Mr. Morality had to "do the right thing" thus alienating Dany and sealing her fate. He deserves to live a lonely (romantic wise) miserable life.

Me too, I wanted to re-watch it and did so with my wife. The one thing that helped soften the blow of this season was reading the spoilers. I didn't mind the first couple episodes but then there were so many anti-climatic ending to characters. We spent so many years seeing theses characters being built and then the die to falling rocks?!?!?! Bran the most boring and uninteresting story line, ends up as king? I can see Dany going ape shit and torching the Red Keep out of anger even when the bell rings, but just randomly torching the entire city made no sense. I think they missed a GOLDEN opportunity for a great ending to an epic journey.

With that being said there were things I liked.
    1. I loved the final interactions with Jamie and Tyrion.
    2. Arya's and the Hound's relationship was the best part of the show.
    3. I did like the battle of Winterfell, I had no problem with lighting, but I do have a very nice tv. And after watching it, it made more sense on how the NK got killed. Although the livings tactics were stupid as usual.

The ending was UCFanastic. The more I think about, the better it is.

Season 8 was complete and total dogsh*t, with some of the worst dialogue & storytelling of any series ever...but at least D&D got their money.
