Why is the media not losing it on OSU like they did on MSU? I’m not quite connecting the dots here.

I'd venture to guess Carton is planning on one- or two-and-done and probably picks Michigan or a blue-blood.
There is a nice abortion of a thread going on between IU and Michigan fans on 247. It has brought out the worst of the worst

Saw a thread on another board linking all the times he stalked Carton on social media begging him to choose UM and also him arguing with fans of other teams ( mainly IU ) claiming that UM is by far the best decision he could make.

Yep. He posted some nonsense that IU was "chasing MI" from way behind. I think he's under the impression that Michigan's success last year somehow meant they were going to duplicate it indefinitely.Even though they lost by far their 2 best players from last year to the attrition of the NBA and,you know graduation.

Michigan's second leading scorer from last year, who happens to be their second leading rebounder, not to mention best wing defender and West Regional MVP will be on the team next season.
Maybe they won't get to the Final Four, but Michigan will be at worst a top 20 team these next handful of seasons.

It was. Not sure the league was terrible. But certainly it was down. With that said though, he still took Purdue, MSU and OSU to the wire. Three really good teams. Not to mention battling Duke and UL. I'm in no way way worried about his coaching. Anyone with a basketball IQ above 10 can see he can coach. Showed that at Dayton. Showed it last year with IU.
Also, I can asknyhe question of--"What dobyou think he can/will do with a roster such as what he will have next year"?

Don’t think Gaffney will end up as a 5 star and he’s from Ohio.
The atmosphere in the new arena does suck but the facilities are unbelievable and they’ve been to 11 Final Four’s with 5 different coaches. Honestly I think they should recruit better.
Honestly felt pretty good about Osu’s chances when I thought his official was in September. He visited Osu in April and May so I doubt there’s anything new he’ll see in July. This screams that he’s made up his mind and is following through on a promise to Osu.
