Memphis academics are garbage though.
They didn’t just lose to Purdue. They got thoroughly skill-****ed by Purdue.
Meh----At least Iowa would have company...
Not t a bad way to make a dime...
Gil has done a number on you bro
Yep, Ozark and Billions are great shows, but Succession is the best right now. My college bud Jeremy Strong is so good on that show.
Edit: My other bud is helping to produce the Perry Mason remake on HBO that is coming out soon. Supposedly, will be great as well.
I can't help but read that show name the way BDD says "billions" (and billions)
I am old now, have no idea what or who BDD is. Sorry.
Kansas was in the mix before he fled your cornfields. He committed to Arky and then their coach signed a high school recruit.
He got an inflamed rectum and left before he even arrived.
Big Dick Donald
17 points in a half...
Purdue would have beat Dayton by 20...
And then lose to Evansville by 10.
RIP John Prine
Looks like IL might be rebuilding next year. Anyone know what they have in the hopper recruiting wise?
And I think this CV 19 has really hurt their exposure. I think IL was going to make a run.
Looks like rivarly day Friday on the BTN is Iowa and Wisconsin.
They are playing all our shitty football games.
We're adding 2 top 50 guards. Kofi will be back. There's still a slim chance Ayo returns. I'm assuming he's actually going to declare this year, but rumors are saying that there's higher and higher likelihood that he returns - still would presume under 50% chance. Going to sign a stretch 4 from the portal. We're also adding two transfer wings that can both shoot the ball decently. They're both moving from a lower level, so it's unlikely that they're anything more than role players. Unless Kofi stays in the draft, should still be a tourney team at the minimum.
Going full Gil for a sec:
Andre Curbelo - 43 by Rivals. Will likely be our most impactful signing over his 3/4 year career. He's the guard that does everything right. Smart player.
Adam Miller - 30 by Rivals. Pure scorer and shooter. I expect him to be around 1-2 years. Illinois Gatorade POY.
Coleman Hawkins - 138 by Rivals. Legendary Jazz Saxophonist. 4 year player that has some similarities to DJ Wilson. Likely not a contributor next season.
Jacob Grandison - Transfer from Holy Cross. Not a lot of information out there on him, but he's a decent shooter and supposedly a great passer. Will play 2-4 for us.
Austin Hutcherson - D3 transfer. Was injured during AAU, so he didn't get any looks. Athletic and can stroke it from 3. I know it's DIII highlights, but he reminds me of Zach Lavine. Obviously, I don't expect that level of player/athlete though.
At least you warned us about going Full Gil. That was brutal.
Was hoping IU would have a chance to land Curbelo. I like this game a lot.
playing on a hip that needed surgery., the point still stands Dayton still lost plus they lost to Colorado of the Pac 12
Dayton played 4 P5 Teams and went 2-2 beating Georgia who ended up in 13th place in the SEC, Virginia Tech who finished 10th in the ACC, some real tough competition
we all know about Kansas but now its about Colorado, tied for 5th in the Pac 12. those were the only teams that Dayton played out of the mid major level.
using a loss to say that they would/could have been a force in the BT. ooooo impressive they have 2 wins vs bottom of their conferences, 1 loss to Kansas and a loss to a 5th place Pac 12 team.
Colorado lost to MVC UNI. then ended up losing their last 5 games of the season.
Both teams would have gotten a double bye.
What the fvck are you rambling about? Transitive property what?
losing on the road was very difficult, as for them beating Iowa, those team historically have beat Iowa more than they have lost,
Iowa has not won @ Nebraska since the 2014-15 season and when Hoiberg coached ISU he never lost to Iowa in Hilton Coliseum,
Indiana very very rarely loses to Iowa in Assembly Hall
Purdue is another team that does not lose to Iowa on their court. Purdue was the only BT team to win in Carver.
oooo wow losing to teams that have been hard for Iowa to beat in the past
even Illinois went 21 seasons W/O losing to Iowa on their HOME COURT.
also why did you leave out Minnesota has Iowa swept then so in FACT Iowa went 3-4 vs the 50-50 teams, so hmmmm why?
he would have done the same this fall if they had all returned, Garza in BT play avg'd 26 ppg and 10 rpg, plus in the 12 games vs top 25 teams he avg'd 27 ppg and 11 rpg.
this is why Tobin getting the awards he did is a jokes considering the level of competition they both faced, there was only one team in the BT that tried to go 1 on 1 vs Garza and that was Michigan and he scored 44 points. even MSU used 4 players to guard him.
the great Tobin 245 made baskets on 387 attempts, 102 were dunks, 32 were made 3's.
41.6% of his made baskets were on those dunks, so he has those going for him, most of those came on run outs. he would not have had that opportunity in the BT. Oturo, Garza, Cockburn, Tillman and Haarms would have been very difficult to play against. but hey keep those lips glued to Tobins tube steak since you can't seem to get enough of it.
Jordan was playing on a bad hip, JBo missed the game against Minnesota then played ISU and had surgery on his hip 2 days later, JBo was not even practicing for the previous 3 weeks before he had Hip surgery.
hmmm fleas the cornfields of Iowa for the Wheat Fields of Kansas oh well. at least the cornfields are green till its time to harvest, Wheat is a dirty yellow all season long.
sure they would, still trashing the BT.
you really must suck at life.
Spent the morning watching Purdue at IU games. Fun morning!
I forgot the height, weight, and jock sizes. Damn it.
He's the quintessential "if you're a fan of someone playing basketball the right way, you will want to watch this guy" player.
Very useful information.
I can’t understate how much I hate half of the fan base.
Yikes, that's Iowa'esque.
Jace Howard is officially walking on at michigan, another good sign for Christopher.
slight change to the rotation with Pemsl taking the GT. this means that Keegan will now become the 2nd option at the 4, named the National Post Grad Invitational Most Outstanding Player. 6'9 220 lbs, more athletic with range to 3 vs Pemsl whose range was limited to 15'.
Walk-ons for backups. Yikes.
I don’t even know what this means
