If 24/7 rankings are correct, there are going to be mean recruiting battles in the Midwest for the class of 2023. Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa have at least 2 guys; Ohio, Minnesota, Michigan have at least 1 guy ranked in the top 50. Maryland has 3 and Pennsylvania has 1 but that really doesn't matter as much in that area.

I'd expect plenty of guys in the 50-150 range too.

I know MSU feels pretty good about this 5 star kid, Curtis Williams, who goes to a highschool 5 minutes from my house. Apparently he is a big MSU fan.

Had it typed out that Tatis is about to launch another one and before I could even hit send he crushed it. Cards bullpen is shitting the bed.
Sounds about right. Honestly shocked it wasn’t blown last night

IU/PU guys.....What’s the latest on Kaufman? Is he gonna sign in the early period?

Anything interesting developing with the ‘22 class in Indiana?

seems like he's going to sign early

22 class is going to be a very weak one in state. Kenya Hunter came on board at the right time for Indiana.

Been the same since before his visits. IU in a great spot based on familiarity and closeness to home but Painter has done a great job to keep Purdue in it and Virginia right there. UNC is not likely but can’t count them out

Fall decision seems more likely since he traveled to Virginia and UNC on his own dime but not for sure. The kid is very smart and analytical. I personally think IU wins out with the open spot with TJD being gone and the familiarity with basically the entire team. Having Logan already locked up and those two playing great with each other for two summers now as well.

Certainly is a good time to jump back into the DMV. Nice to see Roberts connections come up to with the 2022 class as well already

NL Central is a trainwreck. Cubs, Reds and Brewers swept and Cards playing to move on tonight.

I guess we should have known when the Cubs easily won the division while barely hitting about the mendoza line.

I feel confident as long as Flaherty can give some good innings. Reyes rested in the pen, but the rest of the pen is a disaster

Even in a year where so many things went wrong, Cards are still the best chance for the NL Central to make some noise. Some things never change lol.

Their starter today hasn’t started a game since 2010 so you know he'll probably shut us down haha.

He’s only going to pitch an inning. Tingler is stoked to bullpen the entire game which is wild. Garrett Richards would’ve been a viable starter, but he alienated him all year.
