Another Big Ten projection...this one from CBS Sports. Gee, I wonder who the Iowa fan is that commented on the article.

https://247sports.com/LongFormArtic...Tom-Izzo-Juwan-Howard-136385284/#136385284_10
these projection are now because of Jordan being out. this is nothing new.

just like last season when Iowa was projected to finish 10th or worse, the big difference is these did not play
Nunge RS'd to finish growing into his body after a major growth spurt from 6'8 185 lbs in HS to his RSSO season 7' 245 lbs that's a 4" and 60 lb increase
Pemsl had knee surgery right after the ISU game
Fredrick weighed 175 lbs and now weighs 195 lbs, he also had a couple cracked ribs after taking a charge from Cook in practice,
[like his guts but question his thought proccess]

these 3 will now join the team, but they don't take into account these 3, now this team this season is fully healthy except for Jordan so because of Jordan not playing its the rinse and repeat factor.

as I pointed out the OOC Schedule will show what this team is capable of,
@Syracuse ACC/BT Challenge
@ISU
@Michigan
H Minnesota
N Cincinnati in Chicago
N TT
N Creighton or SDSU
H Depaul Gavitt Games BE/BT Challenge
this years team will be tested early and often. some are taking pot shots at who Iowa scrimmages but say nothing about MSU scrimmaging Denver University sound more like a HS team as I have never heard of them,

Reading is fundamental!!!! MSU is scrimmaging GONZAGA in Denver.

Big day for the Hoosiers tomorrow with Hoosier Hysteria. Lander, Furst and Kaufman coming into town on official and unofficial visits. Really want two of those three guys.

Stay away from Furst and Kaufman.

all it says is DENVER AND NOTHING ELSE. can't read what is not printed.

Illinois State is not some bottom feeder., besides why should Iowa be required to play Duke or Kentucky in a secret scrimmage? dbl standard being applied.

the season games are what count not some preseason scrimmage.

It literally says in the tweet Gonzaga in Denver. As in MSU is playing the Gonzaga Bulldogs men’s basketball team in the city of Denver, Colorado.

It literally says "vs Gonzaga in Denver".

Illinois St is the very definition of bottom feeder. Shitty team in shitty conference.

still does not justify the outright attack on Iowa. about something that has ABSOLUTELY no affect on how the season will pan out.

You just saying that because of his location? Because so far I’ve heard/read nothing but positive things (as I’m sure most schools have).

No, it was tongue in cheek.

I will say his recruitment will explode and I would be surprised if this doesn't go the TJD route. In early and then not much a factor later at decision time. Just my thoughts. Always could be wrong.

Why? They ain't going to the same school. We're more likely to split them up like Franklin/Newman.

Both Kids could end up at schools out of the state too honestly. Most likely at least 1 stays in-state, but both kids will have lots of options.

They are not going to the same school though as you said.

I agree, that's a possibility considering they're both high level guys. My guess is more in line with yours that one stays in state and one leaves the state. Hoping it's Kaufman choosing to stay in state at IU and Furst goes to like MSU or something. Winking

He’s probably saying that because Kaufman is a top 50 player, and Purdue doesn’t land top 50 players....

Honestly I'd love to see Furst at Purdue and Kaufman at IU. Keep Indiana kids in Indiana and let IU and Purdue battle for Big Ten titles.
Purdue can grab Furst, Goode, and Peterson
IU can get Lander, Kaufman, and Wesley

Looks like AJ Hoggard is a done deal. Great combo guard who was the top ranked guy in PA before going to Huntington prep for this season.

awesome class of Terry, Hoggard, Sissoko.

technically room for 1 more this class if you expect Henry to go pro or someone to transfer out. But given how stacked the 2021 target list is and the Hauser transfer there’s no reason to chase for a 4th guy unless some 5 star falls into our lap.

I hope it doesn’t go that route. It wouldn’t shock me though

It was just a joke

Sissoko that sounds like a name for European futbolista.

Sounding more and more likely that Illinois lands Adam Miller. Last dot to connect will be Andre Curbelo, but it will be tough to beat out Miami for him.

Looks like we might be getting our 2nd division one sports program.

Just read an article giving a little more background on this, and all I can say is WTF? They are getting booted from their conference for winning 6 conference title since 2010? Sht, I guess KU should have been dropped from the B12 a decade ago.

There are no losers in today's society. They obviously weren't playing by the rules. Laughing

UW-Whitewater is lucky WIAC isn't raising hell over their dominance. They won every conference title from 2005-2018, except 2012, 2015, and 2017. They also won 6 D3 titles over that span.
