It would be interesting to see if Gil still posts if no one responds to him. With his ignore list, we're not too far away.

Gil will be locked in a circular discussion with himself at this rate.

@IUfanBorden you dumbass, quit criticizing Iowa’s secret scrimmage opponents. People in their conference have been to final fours.

You still haven’t learned. Exercise in futility. Imagine speaking to a wall and then bashing your head into it when it doesn’t respond. That’s the road laid out for you.

Haha yeah, I get it. Just think it's hilarious. It's entertainment value only at this point. So, I have to minimize it. But, so hard to not poke a little. I realize I can't actually engage in a serious discussion with him. His points are rarely relevant. Always going way off-topic.

Iowa hasn't won a Big Ten regular season title in 40 years. True or False?
and other than MSU which won the NT 20 years ago nobody else has won either,

the BT Champion Team went to the FF the next year, again blah blah blah from a nobody.

BT Teams that have made the National Title game since MSU's last title:
MSU
Indiana
Wisconsin
Ohio St.
Michigan
Illinois
*Maryland

BT Teams that have made a Final Four:
Michigan St.
Indiana
Wisconsin
Ohio St.
Michigan
Illinois
*Maryland

BT Teams that have made the Elite 8:
Michigan St.
Indiana
Wisconsin
Ohio St.
Michigan
Illinois
Purdue
*Maryland

Where's Iowa?

Where's Iowa?
so it still does not change that fact NOBODY has won the National Championship. now have they,

Iowa has not recruited the talent to do either till the last couple years. now have they?

to bad Cook turned pro a year early and Jordan may miss the season otherwise this could have the year that Iowa could have competed for the BT Championship and a Elite 8 run,, as it stand the 20-21 season looks to the year that Iowa will compete for the BT Championship and the Elite 8.

Fran has put Iowa into position to maintain a very high competive team for a number of years.
who he gets in this class will determine for how many years more.
Foster 4* top 100
6'10 245 lb Ogundele NR European player.
6'8 Sibley 4* top 100
6'2 Ulis already committed
a unnamed player has already said he will give up his scholarship for the right player.

Uh.....

Cook was a TO waiting to happen as he led the team with a avg of 2.8 TO's a game for a total of 92 on the season. that's one stat that won't be missed, he only avg'd 7.6 rpg when he should avg'd over 10 rpg with just scoring 14.5 ppg where he should have avg'g 16 ppg and recorded just 18 blocks on the season. with his athletic ability there was really no excuse for not producing better numbers

@boiler1987 @VulvHa

Currently sitting at work like...I have missed this feeling.

Rushing to get everything that requires me to be in the office done so that I can bust out a little early and watch the whole game.

Edit: Also, not feeling great about Mikolas against the Braves’ mashers. Hopefully, Acuna and Freeman are actually dinged up for real.

I can say with confidence that MSU, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Purdue, Indiana, and Maryland are better basketball programs that Iowa. That is 7 that aren’t even up for debate.

yes they have like is or not these by both Rivals and ESPN are on the team
PG Jordan 4* by ESPN 3* by Rivals 6'1
PG Toussaint 4* by ESPN 3* by Rivals 6'0
CG Connor 4* top 100 by ESPN 4* by Rivals 6'5
SF/WG Wieskamp 4* top 100 by ESPN #42 4* by Rivals 6'6
SF Patrick 4* top 100 by ESPN 4* top 100 by Rivals 6'8
C Garza 4* top 100 by ESPN 4* by Rivals 6'11

that makes 6 4*'s 4 top 100 by ESPN
that makes 4 4* 2 top 100 by Rivals 2 3* by Rivals.

that is the best recruiting of players since Ravelling and Davis, also the best at one time since Lute was the coach,

Fran has no problem coaching the offense but now there is a coach that is the Defensive mind.

and you hate it, if Fran adds these 2 4* top 100 7'0 Foster and 6'8 4* top 100 Sibley by both ESPN and Rivals, that will just deepen the bench.

now the question is will Jordan play this season or will he RS and playing in the 20-21 season.

as for the SR's these are the only 2 W/O Jordan
3* 6'9 Kriener and 3* GT 6'2 Evelyn who started at BT team Nebraska out of HS.

Jesus Christ Gil Iowa is a bottom half Big Ten program get over yourself.
Iowa has only finished outside the top half was 3 times going
10th
11th
7th before the conference went to 14 teams,
6 out of 9 seasons does not make Iowa bottom half of the BT Team

last season everybody and his brother were saying that Iowa was going to have a losing record overall and BT and not see anykind of post season tourney and yet the went 10-10 6th BT and 23 wins with 1 win in the BTT and 1 win in the NCAAT.

KEEP telling yourself that Iowa is a bottom half of the BT team. and 6 of those season didn't even come close to having that level of talent.

Just the first 7 teams I thought of. Don’t get ur panties in a wad. Illinois is also a better program than Iowa.

Wisconsin has been better the past decade. Probably why they came to mind first.

It’s a comparison with Iowa. Illinois has sucked balls lately.

To answer yore question. The one with the natty. ;)
