Honestly with how bad I sprained my left ankle a couple of times playing basketball, I’d take getting poked in the eye all day over getting tripped. & I can’t imagine how people that have torn their acl feel when they get tripped intentionally.

An ACL tear would be brutal. But Grayson had some weak tripping attempts. Maybe the Elon trip. None of those guys had to see a trainer after the incidents. At any rate, I don't need to defend Grayson. He played dirty. Just wondering how you guys thought how he compares to Woodbury. Seems like most think Grayson is still dirtier, which is perfectly reasonable.

Once might be an accident. But three times?

How else is Iowa supposed to compete?

No but you could schedule a P5 team. Not low to mid majors.
lower D1 schools have just as good as any team to make the NCAAT, and Illinois State went 10-8 in the MVC finishing 3rd and finished 18-15.

so its not like they are playing some nobody from a nobody conference, your out right hatred for Iowa is clouding your judgement, the MVC Conference Champion went 32-6 overall and went to the FF just a a couple seasons ago and before them WSU went to the FF,

the MVC is not a cupcake conference. WSU is now part of the AAC and finished ranked #16.

you know your hatred really does make you stupid.

How does any of that matter? You’re playing Illinois st. Not the champion from 3 years ago. Might as well play a high school girls team.

in BB there is no such thing as P5 or G5 Classification as EVERY Conference champion or conference tourney champion get a AUTO bid to the NCAAT. the MVC is not some nobody in the BB landscape. beside UNI plays in the MVP and on yearly basis has been in the NCAAT AND Iowa played them every other year in the Iowa B4.

don't see anybody else playing conference champions

oh by the by Iowa plays ISU EVERY YEAR on a H n H basis, this year they play the NCAAT runnerup TT in the LV Invitational

Are you seriously comparing playing an Illinois State, No. Iowa, etc, etc...to that of playing a UK or Duke?

Really?

WTF is in the corn out there in Iowa?

no I said that Illinois state is in the same conference that have had these reach the FF recently
WSU now in the AAC and finished ranked 16th
Loyola Chicago
the state of Illinois is loaded with talent

Illinois State ended up with a winning record. I stated that Iowa should not be required to schedule Duke or Kentucky for a secret scrimmage as nobody else in the BT schedules those 2,

Wisconsin secret scrimmage is against Iowa ST so what Iowa has a home n home with them EVERY YEAR.

so shove your dbl standard where the sun never shines.

Oh, I see. So since Illinois St is in a conference, where a team went to the FF, that makes them a formidable opponent? Got it.

they also some pretty good teams in that conference. the MVC is not this league of cupcakes not when multiple team make the NCAAT.

but you keep trashing the teams that Iowa schedule since it is the only thing you are best at.

Iowa starts the OOC with BE team Depaul in the BE/BT challenge then they may face TT in the LV invitational then another BE team in Creighton who finished in a T-3rd. in the ACC/BT challenge they play @ Syracuse. then the annual H n H series with ISU which Wisconsin has for their secret scrimmage. they open BT Play @Michigan and a home game vs Minnesota so after the 1st 13 games we will see just how good this season.

so why the hell should it matter who they SCRIMMAGE to begin the season since the scrimmage has no affect on their record one way or the other,

or is that all you can do is bitch about something that means NOTHING.

MVC is a good, solid league. I worked in that league years ago. They took a hit though when Creighton, then WSU, left. Still some good basketball. But dude, you are acting as if they are some type of juggernaut, conference. That they are not. Even more now without the services of Creighton and now WSU.

It would be interesting to see if Gil still posts if no one responds to him. With his ignore list, we're not too far away.

teams just step up to fill those shoes teams like Illinois State, Loyola of Chicago, UNI, Drake all move up. The MVC is a solid BB Conference,

Loyola of Chicago proved that by reaching the FF in the last few years and shortly after WSU reached the FF.

Rival just put Foster @ 50% to Iowa after having him @35%
Sibley is now @ 50% after being @25%, they don't ussually do that until they are sure of where they are going

Foster will be making his 2nd Official to Iowa for the PSU FB game as well as C 6'9 255 lb by one site and 6'10 245 lbs by another Ogundele who is originally from England. nice wide body that has range to the new NCAA 3 Point arc which is where it is in Europe.. nobody has a rating on him, really like his vid's, and will take him in a heartbeat. banger down low with range past the new 3 point arc.

he is that athletic player like Cook

a class of these will make a solid class
6'2 Ulis
6'8 Sibley
6'10 Ogundele
7'0 Foster

don't care about their star ratings,
