Hearing really good things about Aaron Henry from the staff and insiders. He was a great athlete and a good shooter last year (52% from the field, 39% from 3) but they are saying that both of those things have taken a significant jump.

On Dickinson, 247 national guys said today that they don’t view Purdue as much of a factor, also sounds like duke may be getting back involved. He was always obsessed with blue bloods.

Our most trusted insider has said that Aaron Henry is the second best player on the team right now, over Tillman and Langford. I wouldn’t have brought it up if it wasn’t such a bold statement.

Izzo said Henry and Brown made the biggest strides this summer. I knew Henry would be good, but it'd be great if Gabe could make a solid impact this year. He's been working with a skills trainer all summer, along with Emoni Bates

Yep that’s what GBI is saying now too. How quickly things turned in a matter of days.

this is a bizarre one. I had written him off for a while, then a wave of really pro Purdue stuff came out (from some national guys too), and now the tide has turned a bit.

FSU has the most buzz it sounds like but really I haven’t seen anyone be too definitive about any one particular school.

Any additional backup bigs for Purdue or 0-3 going to be it for this class? :)

I'd assume with a strong in-state Indiana 2021 class they will hold the scholarship unless a good players pops up worth taking?

Yeah it was either get Kalkbrenner or Dickinson or hold the scholarship for 2021. I know they would have taken Carlson too but he was obviously the far 3rd option (nothing against him, he’s going to be great, it was just obvious Purdue was prioritizing the 2 Centers)

Even with the banked scholly, Purdue only has 3 slots for the 2021 class. It sucks, a sophomore Kalkbrenner would have been a hell of a replacement for Haarms when he graduates.

Apparently Wisconsin football just offered a 4-star Minnesota commit, according to a recruiting guy, Evan Flood, who covers Wisconsin.

Well, currently Goofs have only one 4-star commit, a WR who was a high school teammate of UW QB Mertz.

I'd actually kind feel bad if we stole this one. :D

Choking down the stretch and needing help from Reds and Pirates is a bold strategy for the Cardinals to take

edit: Brewers 1st inning Grand Slam and then Solo shot. It’s going to be a long weekend

Shildt has made some Matheny-esque decisions the last few days.

First I never gave us a chance at making the playoffs. Then it was we’d never win the division.

Could be a fun final few days.

Twins win, magic number = 1. Cleveland currently down 4-1. Might be a champaign and beer shower kind of night.

So, I take it that this kid might not even spend an OV on Minnesota?
Seven schools and only five OV's, two to be left out.

He’s taking an official to Minnesota this weekend.

Marquette and Indiana are the other most likely officials and seem to be the ones in best position. Long way to go in this one though. UNC is out but I could see other schools getting added if they push.

It says he is taking an official right in the tweet. Which is big news considering he has already been on campus many times in the past year.

That kid is a stud. I hope he goes outside the B1G. Don’t want to face him. We need Nike money to pull him far away from home.

He would be the nice finishing touches to this class for Indiana. IU is all-in with Archie and Ostrom already going to see him twice this fall. They are trying to get an official set up for Hoosier Hysteria, but that is his homecoming weekend. He has a good relationship with Galloway and Leal, since they played against each other a lot during the ADIDAS circuit. Nike money won't be pulling him.

Looks like Dawson won't be going to Hoosier Hysteria as was originally scheduled. His homecoming is scheduled for the same weekend and he decided to go to that instead. ;)
