Omg he's JJ Redick! Who's going to draft Purdue Kyle Korver?

Yep that’s what I said. Not bad though for a guy you don’t seem to have a big opinion of. Illinois would've loved to have had a guy with his abilities.

I've said that before. Just don't think he's a standout player.

Anyone else think the MSG location hasn't been as bad as expected? Being a week early definitely sucks though.

I mean, sure, the games are still just as fun to watch on TV but Chicago and Indiana are in the heart of Big Ten country and way easier for me to travel to lol

I have been, I am, and I always will be more accurate at assessing B1G basketball than the media and I had Zavier Simpson as a lock as all defense team for the past month.

#FeelsGood to be vindicated.

Now all he has to do is slow down Edwards. Good luck Z!

I think it has been good. Two of my MSU buds and I were very tempted yesterday to spontaneously drive to New York from mid-Michigan, but ultimately stayed home.

Not a fan of the tournament being out east two years in a row, but it sounds like this will be a once in five year type of deal. Perhaps go to Barclays or Philadelphia during the usual week 5-6 years from now.

What are the guesses for the line tomorrow? I think Michigan favored by 2 sounds accurate but I genuinely have no clue.

Watching the new Albany v Floyd central sectional final... Best game I've watched all day, and I've been watching basketball since 9am. I don't think they can fit even 1 more person in the gym at Seymour, 8000+ there.

Personally I think they should make Springfield, IL the permanant home of the tournament. I mean the PCCC only holds like 7K but it sure does have a lot of heart. Plus it's super close to me. Peoria would also be acceptable.

I thought about that before posting. Fran is wasting his time for sure
depending on who he wants at this point, will be good enough for me.
in the 2019 class Fran loses these
SG 6'4 Ellingson looking for a PG to replace him
SF 6'7 Baer 6'7 Patrick McCaffrey replace him
F 6'7 Wagner think he looking for another Forward to replace him.

there are targets out that might actually be better fits in the 6'5 to 6'8 range.

would I like to have him sure but its also best to replaces players of the same size.

Im not one of those slapjacks who predicts an opponent victory just to be safe and cover my bases - I predicted dump trucks against Rutger and Penn State - but I genuinely would bet money on Michigan if I had to bet. I think Michigan is absolutely as good as any team in this conference(as Ive posted multiple times the past 2 months).

I obvioisly hope Purdue makes it 3 in a row over Michigan but Belein gonna Belein.

I’m with you. I think Michigan is really good and it’s hard to beat teams 3 times. Should be a great game and I am looking forward to it

Keep waiting for "Selection Sunday" comments....Tournament updates, etc, etc...But then I remember: Oh yeah, Big 10 decided to play a week ****ing early. To play in MSG....Yaaaaay.

Just stupid. Playing the Big 10 tourney now is like playing the World Series in November.

Stupid.

Yep, I don’t hate playing the tourney at MSG, but I love them playing in Chicago or Indianapolis. That’s where it should stay. Either or rotate. I hate playing a week early. It’s just too strange.

Get over the hard to beat a team 3 times casual fan narrative. That has nothing to do with tomorrow.

What has to do with tomorrow if Purdue cannot guard Mo VVagner and hes playing as well as any player in the country. He dump trucked Nick Ward sespite going o for his first 6 from 3.

Purdue has the same problems because Haas flat out cant guard Mo.

Wagner flat out can’t guard Haas.

The new Albany/Floyd sectional game was a complete snooze fest I thought tonight. It won’t let me respond to a poster who was there because apparently it’s tagged as “spam”.

I checked out the 2-4 quarters. Yeah game wasn’t anything great. Awesome atmosphere though. 8300 people. The regional next weekend there will be huge again. TJD and Romeo plus others
