Geo Baker going pro after this season right? Goodness he’s hitting everything

Just out of curiosity, I looked up 2008 Georgia. They were 13-16 (4-12), but managed to win that year's SEC tournament, and thus got SEC's auto bid. They were seeded 14 in the NCAA's.

We’re not going to win this game, but if we made it? Prob 11/12 seed

I am sitting ~50 ft from the floor and have a great view of the shots. If Baker and Sanders dribble for 20 seconds and can keep hitting pull up contested Js, I’ll tip my hats to them, but Purdue shouldn’t lose this game.

Damn that was a fun game (helps that we won). How the hell did that team finish 14th?

On the year, Corey Sanders has a true shooting % under 45%.

Geo Baker has a true shooting % of 48.1.

Anything under 53% for a guard is atrocious.

To put that into perspective, Nojel Eastern cant shoot at all and he has a slightly higher TS% than Geo Baker on the year.

Their guards are typically awful and inefficient but tonight and last night they looked like world beaters. Those shots they made arent sustainable over the course of a season.

I will say this though, Geo Baker at least took 9 3 pointers tonight in his 20 total shot so at least he has basketball IQ.

Sanders took all those jumpers and only 2 of them were even behind the 3 point line. He had taken 9 3s as well, Rutgers very well may have won.

Well that was a little more nerve-wracking than I would have liked.

Not in love with the PSU matchup. Need to bury the ball inside to Haas and leverage that advantage, because Carr and Garner and looking very good right now.

Well there is that. Good points.

So Penn State is the 5th team in if the B1G gets 5 in, correct?
Hell naw to the naw naw. Penn State's resume is laughable. Just look at their wins and losses. They have no OOC legitimate wins. They have awful losses on their resume.
The only way they are geting in is if they beat Purdue and then beat MSU or scUM in the finals. If anybody is getting an at large bid to become the 5th NCAA big from the Big Ten it's Nebraska. And that scenario pretty much went away with their showing against scUM. It's pretty much NIT bound for them. At least they might get a 1 seed in that tourney.

Haven't made my way up there. Columbus has something like 30, and I had quite a few good ones.
Cincinnati has 49 now and I know of at least 3 more in the works. Pre-prohibition, Cincinnati had more breweries per capital than any other city in the US. It feels like we are headed back that way.

I have friends in Columbus that I visit every couple months - and I always try and drink local whenever I travel. CBC, Land Grant, and Seventh Son are the ones that immediately come to mind as beers I've really enjoyed.
Jalalima by North High is one of my favorite beers.

i don’t get it in CO either. We have a good beer scene out here, but I absolutely love Bells.
Have you tried Myrcenary by Odell’s? If you like a good double IPA, I found it quite enjoyable.

Wow...just woke up with a killerr headache. Going to booze even more tonight against PSU..
Lol. I bolted last night back to Texas. I was there with some of the investment bankers I work with. Let’s just say, they like to party. After the last minute trip on Friday, I knew I was risking potential death if I partied like that two nights in a row. Lol. Not sure I’m real upset that the Hoosiers lost. I would have been more compelled to stay.

It was my first time at MSG. I was very impressed. Cool place to watch a game.

You're insane. Lynch/Coffey/Curry>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Williams/McCaffery
oh that's right Iowa players = scum
Minnesota players = Greatest players in the world.

OH by the way it was you that told me that Curry was not that big a loss and yet now he was a great loss.

a PG is a bigger loss when it leaves a team with just one
also losing the BT 6th MOY to start the season was a big loss. who knows with him fully healthy Iowa might not have lost those 2 tourney games and the season might have gone the other way.

Also, I used to be one of those inevstment bankers, so I know how it goes...

I wouldn't bet on it. But it sure would be nice to finally get that proverbial monkey off the conference's back.

Ya I wouldn’t either. But I think we can all agree that it would have to be MSU or Purdue. Um can be great at times but idk if they can win 6 straight. Osu could win a few games but obviously they are a little undermanned so I don’t give them much of a shot
