You told us losing Jok was nbd and his production was easily replaced
Impressive beating a team 3 times in the same season
Was hoping Ohio State could pull that off. Think we match up better with them compared to Penn State.
he is bring in 2 more guards and adds a 3rd in Connor, what do you think?
he was down Bohannon as the only true PG and now Connor, Fredrick along with Dailey who went to on the job training to be a pg, that makes 3 solid option at the PG Position.
Wieskamp will give Fran the options at the 2 position

as for losing Jok looking back yes as he was the senior leader in the 16-17 season. as for his production he was 2nd in 3 point made and shooting percentage to Bohannon as he made 89 3's to Joks 82 and JBo made 96 3's in 33 games.
and the scoring at 19.9 ppg were made up by a pair of FR
Garza 12.1 ppg and Nunge 5.7 ppg.
even Joks rebounding numbers of 176 total Garza had 211 rebounds the production numbers were easy to replace
ppg with Jok 81 ppg
W/O Jok 80 ppg
even Moss went from 6.5 ppg to 11.1 ppg.
W/O the injuries his loss would not have been that big.
another thing to look at with Jok there were only 3 players in dbl digit scoring

this team did not have that upper classmen leadership that
JR Williams could have and with JR Baer missing the games in November and early December never got a chance to take that role.
this is where a fully healthy Baer from day one as a SR will make a huge difference

Nobody ever thought they were elite. But they are certainly a solid team. Much better than a one expected. The high point was probably beating Michigan with Dakich lol
Credit to PSU. Tough game to lose, they are the toughest team OSU has played in league. Gotta find a team to root for now this week end. It won’t be them. lol

Yeah, not enough rest is the reason Ohio State lost today...... Penn State was way more rested.
When Ohio State plays Penn State it might as well be a different sport for them. It's not even comparable how much better they matchup and play than just about any other team.
They clearly have no answers for them defensively and offensively KBD might as well be playing 1 on 5 because no one else on the roster can make a play against their defense.

You seriously aren't comparing the loss of Williams and McCaffery to the loss of Reggie Lynch, Amir Coffey, and Eric Curry are you?
yes I am Williams and Connor are both PG's with 6'6 Williams being the best defender on the team, and that is what Iowa was missing a defender at the point and a key backup at the point.
Connor another PG that @ 6'5 added a longer defender on the perimeter vs 6'0 Bohannon
both of these would have allowed Bohannon to rest and move to the SG.
AND BT 6th MOY definitely = Curry. this team was hurt more by losing PG Williams and not having Connor to replace Williams is far more important to this years Iowa team.

seems like that has been what people are ripping Fran for, like I said these Hypocrite give lil Ricky a complete pass for the same thing they rip/trash Fran for
