Broome's numbers would be better if he played under Scheyer. He would run his entire offense through him more so than Pearl.
He had 22 and 11 against auburn, if that’s what you mean.Broome has been great against great teams. Flagg has been great against..?
lol at the Kentucky kids pumping the SEC in every thread . You can definitely tell who the rafter regulars are.
I don’t have enough fingers or I would.

if we're gonna start using stuff like that then I'm giving extra credit to the guy who played most of the year at 17 years old vs the guy who turns 23 in July.
Doesn't matter how bad the ACC is, Flagg is still playing every night vs men often 3-5 years more physically mature than him. He's a boy playing vs young men. Don't care how bad the ACC is, that's way more impressive than old man Broome beating up on guys who are pretty much all younger than him.
100% adding age. If people want to add SOS than why can't age be added? What great teams was Broome playing against when he was Flaggs age and he was some nobody freshman at Morehead? So you are adding age to the DEI equation for NPOY?
This could be the dumbest take I've heard in awhile.
We aren't suggesting Broome should have been NPOY when he was Flagg's age. I believe the award is who is more deserving today.100% adding age. If people want to add SOS than why can't age be added? Anthony Davis pretty much won every award in existence that year. Duke and Flagg could do the same thing but they haven’t yet.I don't remember this being a problem when Anthony Davis went 16-0 in league play and the next best team had like 12 losses. 😆
Deservedly so. But lots of metrics pointing to this being the best conference of all time. It’s not just honking. It’s facts. That old saying act like you been here before applies to the SEC homers because they can’t, it’s uncharted territory
Every passing day on here is turning me into a hater. If the SEC bombs in the tourney you all are going to hear it.
Fair enough. That old saying act like you been here before applies to the SEC homers because they can’t, it’s uncharted territory

Damnit man. Don't make me defend Kentucky.I don't remember this being a problem when Anthony Davis went 16-0 in league play and the next best team had like 12 losses. 😆

Flagg can't touch what AD did in 2012, not even close. Especially defensively.I don't remember this being a problem when Anthony Davis went 16-0 in league play and the next best team had like 12 losses. 😆
Fair enough.
Wasn't a KU player? Robinson? IIRC, UNC's Marshall was up there as well. Too bad he got hurt.Flagg can't touch what AD did in 2012, not even close. Especially defensively.
Second, who was ADs biggest competition in 2012? I don't even remember. Did he have someone like Broome to be compared against? Don't think your analogy works in this case.
I just root for UK.And if you win I won't have a problem giving you props.

UNC @ Rupp was top 5 games played that season. A rematch would have been epic. The starting backcourt was out (Marshall and Strickland) when we lost to KU.
Robinson was a good player but he was no match for UK's frontline.
Damnit man. Don't make me defend Kentucky.
2012 UK played 6 conference games against tourney teams (excluding SECT) out of 16 conference games. or 37.5%
This Duke team is likely to play 4 out of 20 conference games against tourney teams. It's really not a close comparison.
