its not a football game. Expected to see some ku fans with a thread.
What’s the answer ku fans? Can the ship be righted without Dok?

With DeSousa, they win the Big 12
From what I’ve seen, I think Kansas seems to be relying too much on Dedric Lawson. When he’s off, they seem to struggle.
Dok going out should have been a big opportunity for McCormack to step up and get some good minutes, but I don’t think he’s had 10 minutes since Dok went down.
Also, did Self bench Vick, or was I just not paying attention?
It’s rare for Self to rely on a freshman big. Maybe only Embiid was a big impact freshman player since he’s been here? Probably Julian Wright as well but he wasn’t a typical down low big. Guys like Darnell Jackson, Kaun, Aldrich, Robinson and Ellis didn’t really do much until their sophomore or junior years. The McCormick dude looked like a freakin' beast in the McD's AA game. Not sure why that hasn't seemed to carry over into the season.

As per usual, the rest of the Big XII produces a who's who of 3-8 seed caliber teams who are leaving the door wide open for KU to survive the De Sousa / Azubuike absences and keep the streak alive. If not now, then probably never, there cannot be a more perfect storm for KU to be knocked off its perch, we even pitched in with our lone conference victory to help the cause.
Kansas played North Texas?
Probably because he hops around like a jackrabbit on speed when he gets in the game. Things are just moving to fast for him. I remember another guy who looked like a beast his freshman year but couldn’t slow down. Hopefully he turns in a career like that dude before all is said and done. The other turned into a first team all American and lottery pick by his junior year.
